Model Mamas Hit the Runway For Victoria's Secret

Host, shmost! Heidi Klum claimed she was only going to host the always anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but the mama of four made a surprise appearance and walked her hot self down the runway with her tulleriffic attire. Having given birth to her second daughter, Lou, just over a month ago, she left the crowd in shock and awe. Also in attendance on the catwalk? Alessandra Ambrosio. The leggy new mom bared her toned tummy and long stems alongside veteran Klum. The pair certainly left some mums green with envy.

A couple of ladies noticeably absent from the show? Gisele Bündchen, Karolina Kurkova, and Adriana Lima. Gisele is still sporting her adorable baby bump, while the other two glamorous mommies just welcomed their bundles of joy weeks ago. Is Victoria's Secret in the Water? Pregnant Angels

Models of perfection in their diamond encrusted bikinis, lingerie ladies Alessandra Ambrosia and Heidi Klum also make pregnancy look fabulous. The latter even admits to shortening hemlines on her maternity gear to keep her leggy look alive. Either their grace and ease into motherhood inspired their cat-walking cohorts to join the mommy club or Victoria's Secret is that there's a fertility potion in the water from which they all drink. One thing is for sure - the line up for this year's fashion show will look quite different from years past as some of the cherubs will be sporting baby bumps. Or maybe we will all be surprised when the bodacious bellies grace the runways with some sexy maternity lingerie! We mamas can dream anyway.

Favorite Three Subsequent Pregnancy Maternity Must Haves

Each pregnancy is different - the first time around, I paged through week-by-week books. The second was spent researching baby brands. This time, I've got a few favorite products that are practical and more mama focused. I'd recommend them to anyone who is expecting, it just took me this long to discover the goodies!

Body Bare Full Coverage Bra ($30). While boobs swell during a first pregnancy, they enter the Dolly Parton phase early during a third. This comfortable bra gives my chest the lift it needs after nursing two babies and is seamless under shirts.

Mama Mio Tummy Rub ($35). I don't know if I can repair the damage that has already been done, but I'll do my best to keep more stretch lines from appearing on my burgeoning belly. The paraben free rosehip, wheatgerm and borage oil potion smells incredible and isn't oily at all.

Ingrid and Isabel Belly Leggings ($52). These snug fitting, super soft pants may be a bit on the pricey side, but they support your stomach and allow you to stay in your dresses even once your stomach takes up the hem. And, paired with a tunic or sweater, they allow you to breathe!

Heidi Klum may have a postpartum bod that sets her apart from most moms - she shook it down the catwalk at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but when it comes to the contents of her diaper bag, she's just like the rest of us.

OK! Magazine asked the mother of three - Leni, 3, Henry, 2, and Johan, 1, what she carries in her bag of tricks. She said:

“I need diapers in different sizes,” she says. “There’s always wet wipes, there’s milk, there’s water, there’s goldfish, there’s tons of things you have to bring like bananas. Henry eats three bananas a day.”

Shopping for a nursing bra should be as thrilling as a trip to Victoria's Secret! The "uniboob" contraptions of the past have been replaced by comfortable, cute and easy-to-use undergarments that are as fashionable as they are functional making the task of choosing a bra easier than ever. We recently sat down with some experienced sales help at Destination Maternity to discuss what expectant mamas should look for in a nursing bra. While the experts recommend getting fitted in person, there are a few simple steps that can be taken at home if you choose to place your orders online. Before packing your hospital bag, check out these tips.

Don't wait until the last minute. Get fitted for a nursing bra approximately two weeks before your due date. This alleviates the need to send a clueless relative to the store to guess what size and style bra you need.
Support is key. Look for bras with enough support to keep your girls from bouncing around too much.
Avoid the bulge. Breasts should not bulge out of the top or sides of the bra, even at their largest, most engorged state.
Make room for the pad. The bra should have enough room to hold your breast and a nursing pad comfortably.

Go up a size. Purchase a bra one cup size larger than your pre-delivery measurements say. This will leave the proper amount of space for your breast once your milk comes in.
There's a three bra minimum. Having three nursing bras in your possession will allow for one to be in the wash, one to be on you and one to be ready to go.
Buy good nursing bras. There is a reason some bras cost more than others – they last and wear longer, meaning less stretch, fewer clasp breaks and more elasticity.
Sleep on it. Sleep bras keep breast pads in place and help alleviate some pressure from the back during the overnight hours.

Study Finds Women Becoming More Beautiful Over Evolution

Are beautiful women at an advantage even when it comes to bearing babies? A new study by a researcher at the University of Helsinki found that women are becoming more attractive through evolution, while men remain the same.

Based on the research, it appears that women deemed to be more aesthetically pleasing have up to 16 percent more children than less-attractive women and a higher proportion of those children are female. The female offspring then tend to be better looking as well, and they repeat the pattern as they procreate. The study also showed that more attractive parents were 26 percent less likely to have sons. Perhaps, we'll see a lot more lil ladies when the Victoria's Secret Angels give birth this Fall.
