Sep 3 2008 - 1:00pm I find the perfect kiddie decor in the least likely places. Browsing Urban Outfitters the other day, I dreamed of using knickknacks from the funky store to sass up my daughter's room.
Instead of a boring white lamp base with a green and white polka dot shade, I thought a toot-hootin' owl would be much more fun and imaginative.

What great picks. I want them for my very own, but there are some great affordable options for kids' rooms.

and a few others including on with owls similar to the lamp. They're very whimsical and so different from typical Dora and Princess schemes I'm so sick of already.
