What is "spoiled" to some may be "spirited" to another. While some parents expect their children to march to the beat of an adult drummer, others delight in watching kiddos pave their own way with their defined personalities. Is a child who pitches a fit late at night in a toy store tired or spoiled? Is a tot who runs in the opposite direction than he's been directed a free thinker or spoiled? But then I heard that Suri Cruise had a $5,000 birthday cake for her second birthday (pictured above). Now really, can you honestly tell me that Suri prefers fondant to butter cream frosting? My boyfriend had been hinting to me about getting married and starting a family. He has been divorced before but no kids. I don't know if he's joking or not but I think he's trying to tell me that he won't get a diamond ring for me. He told me he thinks a diamond ring is pointless because it's expensive and there's no meaning behind it. He would rather use the money for something else. My boyfriend is not cheap. He's generous and spoils me. We love each other very much but this is bothering the hell out of me. I have told him that a diamond ring is something that symbolizes marriage, eternity, and I like jewelry and diamonds!

I am 25 and he is 35 and this will be my first marriage if we do tie the knot. I know the ring isn't the most important thing in this relationship but it's part of tradition and I like jewelry.

"Perfect Boyfriend . . . Except For Three Major Problems"

I am 38 and dating an amazing man of 35. We've been together for about five months and despite his attempts to "take it slow" he is basically living with me. He still has his other place but is here every night except maybe once a month. We get along great, have a lot of laughs, and really seem to understand each other. Personally I'm madly in love in a way I've never experienced.

We have both been divorced for about 2-3 years and he admits to being incredibly hurt by his last girlfriend, who dumped him and got married to her ex (yep, that would hurt!). When we met, I was just out of a relationship that should have ended months prior and neither of us were really looking for anything serious, but I feel I was more ready than him. He just took me by surprise and swept me off my feet, and while he kept maintaining that we were taking it slow, it didn't go that way - within a couple months he was calling me his girlfriend by accident and like I said, staying with me all the time.
