Stretch those necks! A giraffe's spotted coat may help protect the animal in the wilds of Africa, but it also makes for great nursery design inspiration. Forty-nine years ago, squeak toy Sophie the Giraffe made its way into wee hands and now kiddos can delight in their lair outfitted in her likeness.

I have been in toy stores when mothers in a mad panic came looking for Sophie the Giraffe ($18). Many times the stores were sold out because of the demand.
I wondered what the big deal was with the small rubber giraffe that looked and sounded more like a dog toy than a child's addiction so I asked mothers who swore by Sophie.

Vanilla ice cream, Dove soap, and a cup of joe: these are a few of my favorite things because there is no worry attached to them. I get that same feeling when I am buying something from BornFree. You may wear a lot of hats as a parent, but your lil one needs her own stash during the Winter months. I love her Sophie La Giraffe teether, but Harlow Madden looks beary cute in her knit hat with lil pom-pom ears. Not only does her cap keep her ears toasty and warm, but it adds some flair to whatever she wears.
