Few women have had a better year than Tina Fey. Any mom that could steal the spotlight from the four people vying for the nation's top posts deserves the Wonder Woman title.
The Vanity Fair cover girl was the star of the election season with her dead-on impersonation of vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Actress and comedienne Maya Rudolph is celebrated for her comedic timing on-screen, but it is her dead-on timing offscreen that is generating buzz these days. The former Saturday Night Live cast member — whose impersonations of Condoleezza Rice and Donatella Versace were reasons enough to stay up past most mamas' bedtimes — recently announced that she is expecting baby number two just as she begins promoting her Summer film, Away We Go, in which she plays a mama-to-be.
Already mother to 3-year-old Pearl with longtime boyfriend Paul Thomas Anderson, Rudolph is no stranger to raising children in the public eye.

She's had us rolling on the floor with her dead-on impression of Hillary Clinton during the presidential election and cracked us up as the junk food-eating, karaoke-singing surrogate mother to Tina Fey's baby in last year's Baby Mama. Now, Amy Poehler is back on our boob tubes as a public servant in Parks and Recreation.
The new mama — Poehler and her funny man husband Will Arnett welcomed son Archibald "Archie" William Emerson last Fall — went back to her Saturday Night Live Weekend Update chair just a weeks after giving birth to help have fits of hysterics through the final pre-election weekend.

Disney's hottest dad act, the Imagination Movers encourage friendship, creativity, and thinking while they get kids up off the couch. You may assume this is just another example of the Mouse's Midas touch, but it's more. The four friends (three of which are fathers to a combined nine children) have a back story beginning in New Orleans that will have parents pushing their tots in front of the television as the band's message is genuine.

Like it or not, the Snuggie has taken the world by storm this year. Oprah and the hosts of The Today Show have donned them on air and Saturday Night Live has even parodied the commercials touting the wearable blankets, but until now, they were only made for adults. The recently introduced Snugglette ($19.95 for two, plus free matching slipper socks) is a miniature version of the grown-up blanket with sleeves, made from the same "super soft luxurious fleece."

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are perhaps one of America's most fascinating couples. They are raising their eighteen children with conservative values in a very progressive world as the cameras roll for their TLC show, The Duggars: 17 Kids and Counting.
With twenty personalities (21 including their first daughter-in-law, Anna), visitors coming in and out, and Jim Bob's parents living with them so they can help care for his ailing father, how do they keep the peace?

We are raising the most Eco-conscience generation to date. Last weekend, Saturday Night Live made light of our earth-friendliness with a parody diaper commercial for "Chewable Pampers" that are flavorful, easily digestible and all natural. While the ad certainly took the movement to an extreme, it was a funny commentary on an issue many hold near and dear to their hearts.

I've been a sucker for Adam Sandler since Saturday Night Live, and even more so after he chatted up his daughters on Letterman, but it was my 4-year-old who practically dragged me to his latest flick, Bedtime Stories, after she saw it rained gumballs in the trailer.
Once we settled into our seats to watch the story of Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), a hotel handy man who collaboratively tells imaginative tales with his niece and nephew that come true, I was enjoying the movie as much as my daughter. The four bedtime fantasies — Medieval, old West, ancient Greece, and outer space — are brought to life with the cast members playing roles in each tale.

Everyone tuned into Saturday Night Live to see Tiny Fey and Sarah Palin go head to head, but it was a very pregnant Amy Poehler who stole the show. The expectant mama spit out a rap sequence while bouncing around stage big belly without every missing a beat or losing her breath.
What's the most physical thing you did while pregnant?

I like to hear different perspectives on parenting — sometimes I am enlightened and other times I am left shaking my head. After reading an article by Joanne Rendell titled "Unschooling — Why my kid won't attend school this fall - or maybe ever", I was puzzled. An author married to a college professor, the two New York City dwelling parents decided not to send their five-year-old son, Benny, to Kindergarten for various reasons.
