Celebabies Have Crocs and Slippers on the Soles of Their Feet

Summer's here and the time is right for lil ones to be dancing in the street. But before they get footloose, they've got to cover their feet and Tinseltown's tots and politikids are embracing two styles this season - laid back casual and dainty sophistication. Crocs are still tops for a number of kiddos with Leni Klum, Apple and Moses Martin and River Deary sporting the ubiquitous non-slip sandals that caused a stir when they first hit playgrounds two years ago. Lil girls looking to add some slip-on style to their wardrobes are shopping the ballet flats at Crewcuts. Sasha Obama boarded Air Force One in a pair and landed in Moscow in another, while Suri Cruise opted for a more wild style while attending the Australian theater.

Keri Russell makes sure her lil guy River Deary knows the true meaning of Christmas. When asked about their plans, the Bedtime Stories star said:

We’re having all the parents at my house this Christmas and we told the grandparents, “No one go crazy. One gift for the kid,” which translates to like five. They don’t understand that. My gift is being home. It’s been so nice to be in our house in Brooklyn.

The celebs were out this weekend - many stood up to cancer while others partied at the Toronto Film Festival and the VMAs. Still, some found time to snuggle with their wee ones. Sheryl and son Wyatt Crow left LAX after the breast cancer-surviving mama sang a duo with James Taylor on Friday night. What's not to love about a woman who went through 38 hours of labor to have her son, River and spends her time introducing him to farmers markets and parks rather than trendy Big Apple and Hollywood haunts. We've loved Keri since her days on Felicity, but with age, babe and marriage to contractor, Shane Deary, the actress has become all the more appealing.

And, it's her down-to-earth attitude on everything from the business of being born to her sensible fashion style that further complements her natural beauty. Whether she's on the tennis courts with her hubbie or wandering around town with her tot in tow, she seems to enjoy family life. We can't wait to see her upcoming latest flick, Bedtime Stories.
