Strollin': Baby Jogger City Classic Single

Mommies on the run can appreciate the ease and comfort of the Baby Jogger City Classic Single ($400). The reclining padded pushchair allows plush seating for precious cargo and the Quick-Fold Technology is one of the best collapses I've seen on any stroller. One simple pull on the back of the stroller and the chair is down in a flash. At 21 pounds, it's no easy task to lift the bugger, but it is on the lighter end of athletic strollers.

read more. Like the BOB, the Baby Jogger City Classic has an adapter for car seats, making it useful from an early age. A major bonus is that it can handle a child up to 75 pounds! Also similar to the BOB Revolution, it has a front swivel wheel that can lock in place should that be a requirement. The handle bar is adjustable, which is nice for parents who like to switch it up occasionally. As for amenities, there is a basket under the seat and zipped mesh pockets for stowing items and an accompanying three panel sun canopy that provides ample shielding from the sun or nasty weather for comfortable outings. There's one major caveat that comes with this buggy though - it is NOT equipped for jogging. This left me scratching my head. It looks like a jogger and the name implies it's a jogger, but technically, it's not. Having said that many people use different "non-jogging" strollers to troll along for exercise. If you're an Iron-Man type trainer, you may want to invest in a jogger that actually lives up to its name. read more. Commonly seen on the streets of NYC, moms on the go appreciate the buggy's portability that does not forsake the child's comfort or security. The reclining padded seats, extendable foot and leg rests, and five-point harness keep tots pleasantly pampered for an afternoon of strolling. Similar to the Maclaren Volo, it simply collapses with the use of one hand. Like many more expensive travel systems, the seat reclines, making it suitable for newborns through 55 pounds. Another bonus that usually comes with pricier pushchairs is the adjustable handles, which is parent pleaser for those towering at different heights. Like most other Maclarens, the mesh basket underneath the seat provides ample storage with easy access. At $280, there are certainly plenty of positives that have convinced moms to buy the buggy. For all of those pros, there's got to be at least one con. Here it is - the plastic wheels keep it light but also provide a less than smooth ride, especially compared to the Bugaboo Cameleon or others in that category. Last week I reviewed five of the top travel system strollers on the market. This week, I'm taking it down a notch and honing in on more reasonable lightweight strollers from Right Start.

Often used for travel, quick trips to the park, a stroll to the local eatery or in the trunk of the car, lightweight buggies often help moms get from point a to point b without much hassle or concern. One of the toughest baby gear decisions a mother-to-be has to make is which stroller to buy. With all the options available, it's near impossible to test drive every ride. So, I took the liberty of reviewing a vast assortment of buggies for all of you mommies in a stroller quandary.
Right Start graciously showed me some of their inventory covering various categories - travel systems, lightweight, jogger and double strollers. In the next few weeks, I will spotlight each stroller. I have a few different sets that I switch up, but my girl loves the alphabet set from Right Start ($6) and the Eric Carle ($15) animal/alphabet set. Before I prop my legs up and take a break on the couch, I lay the cards out on the carpet. Then I'll say to her, "Can you bring me the hippo?" and she hurriedly walks over to the blue hippo card, picks it up and delivers it to me so I can place it in my pile. She gets giddy as I cheer her for her accomplishments while I revive.

Not quite. “I’ve been nervous all week!” Kelly said when we got the chance to chat with her on her new ambassador title with Diet Coke. We caught up with the brunette bombshell hours before showtime to get the scoop on how she lives a heart-healthy lifestyle, the exercises she swears by, and more.

Tell us about your partnership with Diet Coke and Heart’s Truth Red Dress Fashion Show. What made you decide to get involved?

Before I started working with Diet Coke as an ambassador, I wasn’t even aware that heart disease is the number-one killer for women. I figured this would be a chance for me to use my voice and let other women know how important it is to eat right and exercise to keep your heart in good health.

How do you manage to stay in shape, especially with such a busy schedule?

I try to do yoga every morning at 7 a.m.; it’s good to get your workout out of the way early. I also work out with my trainer Gunnar Peterson two days a week on top of that. I owe him a lot of credit for the shape I’m in because I love to eat! I have to work out extra hard to balance my love for food out.

"My Boyfriend Is a Jerk"

My boyfriend makes such hurtful comments that he has me crying at least once a week. I also see him checking other women out right in front of me. I know that he feels unattractive and I wonder if he says stuff to me because he feels inadequate. He has told me my butt is too big and my breasts are too small. He told me I should have breast augmentation to just have a lift. He wants me to set up a three way with another woman. To be honest I love him and hate the thought of sharing him. He makes me feel inadequate in every way. I have started to take prescription anxiety medicines frequently because I am in tears most of the time. He told me the woman he wants to have for our three way and she is pretty but I feel like why should I be there if he wants her why not just have her and let me go? I don't understand him at all. He wants to talk about marriage but I could never marry this man. Every time I try to break free something he says brings me back. I want away from him and I don't want to get pulled back. Why can't I stay away from him. I deleted him from my cell phone, I deleted him from my email. I have blocked his text messages. What else can I do to keep from being pulled back in?

She's frequently interviewed and has been seen on Dr. Phil, 20/20, and Good Morning America. Beyond her weekly clients, April writes on her blog, conducts seminars, and is working on a book to help women prepare for love and romance. April tells us what it's like to assist other people on their journey to finding love and happiness.

SavvySugar: Can you tell me about your career path and how your business has grown throughout the years?

April Beyer: I started out in the high-end matchmaking industry nearly 14 years ago. I had worked with a matchmaking company and was there for about six or seven years. I was responsible for many marriages there. In 2003, I decided to venture out on my own and start a relationship coaching and consulting business. Now, I still have my matchmaking company. I work with a handful of highly successful marriage-minded men. I am also a coach and a writer.

Now my passion is to help women better understand themselves first so then they can naturally attract the man of their dreams. I am a little bit more of a holistic dating and relationship coach, but I think of myself more as is a communication and authenticity coach. For me, it's not about teaching people dating skills, it is teaching them relationship skills.

The Grammy Awards took place in LA last night! The action started right away on the star-studded Grammys red carpet, where outlandish fashions were donned by some of music's biggest names like Fergie, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna. The fun continued during the show, thanks to host LL Cool J. In addition to paying homage to the late Whitney Houston, there were lighter moments thanks to performances from Rihanna and Coldplay, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney, and even the Beach Boys. The night, though, belonged to Adele with six wins for her song "Someone Like You" and her album 21. The Foo Fighters were a close second with five new statues.
