It amazes me that Rachael Ray isn't a mother because her 30-minute-meals are often lifesavers for over tasked mommies. Embarking on a new frontier, the talented kitchen cook has teamed up with the omnipresent Tiny Prints to create a line of "yum-o" holiday and food inspired announcements.
Holidays mean spending time with family, friends and what else?

One of the best things about leftovers is that they make great kid-friendly food the next day. Inspired by Rachael Ray's Everyday magazine, I made some tasty spinach fritters and pork chops the other night. Rather than cooking up another meal the following evening, I zapped small portions of the previous night's dinner for my daughter.

In cold weather, there's nothing like kid-friendly comfort food. If you're looking for something yumo for lil tumos, try this version of mac 'n' cheese from the latest issue of Every Day with Rachael Ray. It's a healthful twist on the classic made with cauliflower and whole wheat pasta.

Before I had a baby, I used to love cooking, probably even a little too much. I have two shelves in my pantry dedicated entirely to spices and condiments.
Now, back in the workforce and mother to a 1–year–old, I don't have the time or energy to give much effort to our family dinners.

Before you stuff your holiday bird, set aside some dressing and scoop it into muffin pans to bake. I saw this tip on Rachael Ray's Thanksgiving in 60 the other day and thought that aside from it being a great portioning tool, it may literally come in handy for the kids. If lil ones aren't accustomed to using silverware yet, this is a great finger food.

Perhaps what is most refreshing (or infuriating) to fellow moms is that Kate Gosselin makes no apology for her personality. Only a brave, confident and honest woman would allow for the cameras to roll through the good and the bad — the realities of family life. And, maybe that's why so many mamas are drawn to the TLC show, Jon and Kate Plus 8.

Compassionate mama Salma Hayek, who made headlines when she breastfed a sick and starving baby, passed on a motherly tip this morning on the Rachel Ray Show. When asked about the best advice she was given in raising her 1-year-old daughter, Valentina Pinault, the actress passed on words of wisdom from her own mother. She said: Everybody tells you what to do and everybody contradicts each other and it drives you mad.

Breakfast was a brain-stimulating balance of eggs, fruit and whole-grain cereal, their lunch bags may have been filled with sandwiches cut into fun shapes. But once the children walk in the door from school, all they can think about is their growling stomachs.
Satisfy your hungry students with after-school snacks that provide nourishment without killing their dinner appetite.

This morning on the Rachael Ray Show, Rachael asked Jennifer Lopez if Marc Anthony was a hands-on daddy and the mother of two joked that since she was on television, she'd say he was great. The quadruple threat — actress, singer, dancer, and postpartum triathlete — was pure mama when she talked about their one-year-old twins Max and Emme's personalities. Since the kids made Jennifer a first-time mom, she credits her husband, who was already a father of three, with teaching her about parenthood.
