Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon Postpartum But on Pregnancy Mag

Actress Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon spent years on NYPD Blue and posed for Playboy in August of 2007. But one of her biggest accomplishments was her smallest - premature twin sons born by C-section at 34 weeks.

In the latest issue of Pregnancy Magazine, which hits new stands tomorrow, she talks about motherhood, miscarriage, and the wonders of getting pregnant again at 40. The beauty also has a 16-year-old son, Oliver. To get a sneak peek, read more.

In addition to discussing life as a working mom, Garcelle longs for sleep. She said:

"I’m very tired. My birthday’s tomorrow and my husband said, 'What do you want?' And I said, 'Just a good night’s sleep-that’ll come really cheap to you-no diamonds, no bag, no shoes, I just want to sleep.'”

Bellies up! The latest cover of Pregnancy magazine has all the actresses and actors from ABC's Notes From the Underbelly with burgeoning bellies. The expectant cast posed for pictures to run an interview with two of the sitcom's executive producers and mothers, Kim Tannenbaum and Stacy Traub.

If you are wondering where this season is headed? The article, which hits newsstands next week, said that "it's dealing with new parenthood and how that affects you and your relationship with your husband and friends."

Campbell Brown Covers Pregnancy

Pregnancy Magazine has a triple threat on this month's cover - Campbell Brown's got beauty, brains, and a baby on the way.

In the upcoming issue, which hits stands on Thursday, the 39-year-old correspondent who recently left NBC for CNN discusses the changes pregnancy has brought on - root beer cravings and a nesting instinct to wake up at 6 a.m. and clean closets.

Married to Republican strategist, Daniel Senor, the soon-to-be mom also talked openly about her fears for motherhood likening them to those of most working mothers. She said:

"You worry about striking the right balance and being there enough for your child and still holding up your end of the bargain at work."

Kourtney Kardashian Already Prepping Her Belly Bandit

Kourtney Kardashian isn't due until December, but she's already planning how she will get her body back and lose the 30 pounds she's gained during pregnancy. Life & Style reports the tiny reality star is already a fan of the Belly Bandit, a beloved "abdominal compression binder" designed to shrink the stomach after delivery. In fact, Kourtney, who has kept up her exercise regime throughout her pregnancy, is even lending her name to a forthcoming limited edition Belly Bandit.

She told the magazine:

All my friends with kids swear by it and say it’s the product that will get me back to pre-baby shape...It may be hard to do abdominal exercises right after I have the baby, so I’m depending on Belly Bandit to help give me the abdominal and back support I need so I’m ready to exercise as soon as my doctor gives me the okay.

Many pregnant women think that once they give birth, their tummy will snap back into place, so I appreciate Kourtney understands she might need a secret shaper for a while. BabySugar wore her Belly Bandit religiously for the suggested six-week minimum after she gave birth (and looked fabulous!) and can't stop raving about it. The Day the Cookie Crumbled

There are some magazines that define a generation. Good Housekeeping has been a long time friend of baby booming moms as the articles deem certain toys or household gadgets acceptable with their seal of approval. Parenting gives fabulous tips on breastfeeding, play dates and other mom dilemmas while Fit Pregnancy gets mothers-to-be ready for those same activities. When Cookie entered the baby and parenting category four years ago, savvy and hip mums signed up for the Condé Nast rag expecting the best of the best motherhood coverage. And for the most part, that's what they got.

The bright publication offers mums a rainbow of treats from interviews with pop culture's famous mothers to the trendtotting looks of tomorrow and vacation hot spots. Unfortunately the magazine has seen better days and will be closing its doors along with some other Condé staples. The absence of the digest will leave many a mom wondering where to turn for contemporary and chic bebe products and tips. Since Cookie clearly won't be the title to carry the Gen-Moms through motherhood, which publication will you turn to?

Padma Lakshmi's Got a Bun in the Oven!

The tigress of Top Chef, Padma Lakshmi has got something cooking of her own. The outrageously popular hostess is expecting her first child. The father is unknown at this point. Celebrated for her work as a model, actress and host, the mama-to-be will also be known as a beacon of hope for women diagnosed with endometriosis. The medical condition often keeps ladies from becoming pregnant or maintaining their pregnancy. A long time advocate for the cause, Padma co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America. Her rep told Us Magazine:

As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi's privacy at this time.

Eating for two is one of the delights expectant mothers take in their pregnancies. A double scoop of ice cream here, a second slice of pizza there, it all adds up to the 25-35 pounds an average-sized woman is expected to gain throughout her nine months. The new weight gain guidelines reduce the amount of weight an above-average-sized woman should gain. But what about mamas-to-be who don't gain enough and count every calorie?

"Pregnorexia," the occurrence of anorexia during pregnancy, often occurs when a mama-to-be uses extreme dieting and exercise to ward off weight gain. The lack of calories and nutritional intake can lead to premature delivery, low birth weight and long-term health problems for the baby. Since the media scrutinizes celebrity moms' postpartum figures, some people blame television and magazines for the rise of the eating disorder. What's your opinion?

Did You Go Through Your Pregnancy With a Celeb?

There's been a tot boom in Tinseltown so most expectant women have celebmamas or mamas-to-be to ogle during their pregnancies. While we sport our burgeoning bellies in our daily lives, Hollywood's hottest stars have their glowing faces and swollen ankles plastered across magazine covers. When I got pregnant with my daughter, Reese Witherspoon set the expectant standard.

The second time around with my son, Gwen Stefani was the picture of pregnancy perfection carrying Kingston. I loved how day in and day out, the blond rocker strutted her stuff with those signature red lips. And, I admired her for doing it all over again while bearing baby Zuma. I don't know who I'll be watching this time around - was there a notable mom you went through pregnancy with?
