In Knocked Up, Seth Rogen's character buys a stack of pregnancy books and swears he will read them before the birth of his child. On a pregnancy high, many women with child run to their local bookstore or library and take on as much reading material as possible.

When I was pregnant, I tried to get my hands on every book that would tell me what was happening to my body and why. I found the best resource to be Your Pregnancy Week by Week.
Every Sunday night, I would get in bed and pull out my book to find out what changes were going on inside.

There's a pretty lil green book called the Complete Organic Pregnancy ($10).
The text guides mamas–to–be down a "green" path of healthy living for themselves and their unborn child without scaring them into a hole.
Authors Deirdre Dolan and Alexandra Zissu identify hidden toxins and other harmful agents that mums can avoid or replace.

Mary Pols's Accidentally on Purpose made me laugh, cry, and relate. I rooted for the 39-year-old film critic and her baby daddy, Matt, as I read the author's witty account of her unplanned journey into motherhood. Considering the book to be the mama of all pregnancy must reads, I even gifted it to several expecting friends.

It appears Jenna Elfman is taking her role on the new show Accidentally on Purpose quite literally. The small screen mama is expanding her family and making her son Story, 2, a big brother.
