Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban showed us Sunday's precious face visiting Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais in Paris today after last night's
Australia premiere. On the red carpet, Nicole was joined by Hugh Jackman and while the movie may not have
opened big in America, the reviews
aren't terrible and of course the
wardrobe is romantic and beautiful. At a press conference Nicole clarified
recent statements she made about leaving acting.
Australia: A Romantic Wardrobe, Part I Today, the highly anticipated romantic adventure
Australia, directed by Baz Luhrmann, releases. I had the opportunity to preview the film, in all its romantic glory, as well as to speak with the costume designer, Catherine Martin. We also had a fun fete at the San Francisco Ferragamo store, in honor of Lady Ashley's shoes in the movie — all designed by the Italian fashion house.

Did you happen to go see Australia this weekend? If
my first words with costume designer Catherine Martin didn't pique your interest maybe these will. Some specific items of clothing stood out to me in the film — notably the colors of Lady Ashley's clothes, her belts, and her red Chinosierie dress.

First of all, I highly recommend you watch
Australia this weekend. And read all about what costume designer Catherine Martin
had to say about the film's Fab wardrobe. Now that I got that off my chest, back to fashion.

Australia hits theaters today, but Nicole Kidman took a break from her busy press schedule to present a petition against violence towards women at the United Nations in NYC yesterday. As a UNIFEM Goodwill Ambassador, Nicole talked about how happy she was to get over 5 million signatures,
saying, “We thought that the more names we collected, the stronger our case to make ending violence against women a top priority for governments everywhere. Well, the results are in.

Every once in a while, a movie comes around that reminds us what going to the movies is all about. It's a spectacle and an adventure and a love story. It’s full of magic, passion, music and breathtaking aerial shots.

Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman brought
Australia to NYC last night. Nicole smiled with her costar but reserved the intimate moments for her husband Keith Urban who was on his lady's arm the whole time — wearing similar height heels, too. Hugh Jackman happily signed copies of his
Sexiest Man Alive cover and recently talked about the changes it's made to his personal life.

Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman went to an
Australia screening in NYC yesterday after Hugh stopped by the
CNN Heroes event the night before. Nicole's been making the rounds with the
Sexiest Man Alive as they promote their new movie, but she still loves talking about her new life in Tennessee and baby Sunday.
Nicole said:
- On Sunday being born in the South: "I'm glad that she is able to say she's born and bred in Nashville and Tennessee.
