Serving up three of everything! Scientists in Norway have just concluded a study finding an increase in triplet births, even when artificial means of conception are not used. According to the research, the rate of triplet pregnancies is almost two-and-a-half times higher than it was three decades ago.

In France, public school students sit down to a five course lunch every day, and no meal is repeated for two months. Your child's prepacked lunch of favorites probably pales in comparison. A Time magazine article, marveled at the French public school system's lunch program since US moms try a variety of tricks to entice their tots to eat something other than the standard peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chips and a piece of fruit.

To say that John Edwards surrounded himself by loyal women is an understatement. He recently added one more to the mix by acknowledging his paternity of 2-year-old daughter Quinn with Rielle Hunter. The former vice presidential candidate who rode largely on the ticket of being a "family man" had the public support of both his wife and mistress when news of the love child surfaced.

Babywearers beware! The head of the Consumer Product Safety Commission is preparing to issue a general warning about baby slings, citing suffocation hazards with the popular fabric carriers.
Speaking at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, CPSC head Inez Tenenbaum said, "We know of too many deaths in these slings and we now know the hazard scenarios for very small babies.

It looks like Gisele isn't the only mama-to-be opting to bring her lil one into the world at home. A new study from the Centers for Disease Control shows that after a 15-year decline, homebirths have risen 5 percent over the past five years. The period of study, which predates Gisele's at-home water birth and Ricki Lake's homebirth advocacy flick, found that the average woman who chooses to have a non-hospital birth is a non-Hispanic white woman over the age of 25 who already has a child at home.
