We already know about her bathtub waterbirth that didn't hurt a bit and how safe she felt during delivery. Now, in her first US interview, Gisele Bundchen graces the April cover of Vogue with a photo shoot showing off her six-week-old son, Benjamin, and her post-baby body. She also discusses how she kept her weight gain to 30 pounds, how the baby got his name and who was at her side during the birth – her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, her mom, and a friend from Brazil who served as a midwife.

To say that John Edwards surrounded himself by loyal women is an understatement. He recently added one more to the mix by acknowledging his paternity of 2-year-old daughter Quinn with Rielle Hunter. The former vice presidential candidate who rode largely on the ticket of being a "family man" had the public support of both his wife and mistress when news of the love child surfaced.

This year St. Patrick's Day falls on a Wednesday, which means your family will be rushing through the school and work week and lucky if you remember to wear green tees (seriously, don't forget that kids pinch!). If you're too busy chasing a pot of gold to make a whole St.

Mommy Dearest –
I'm at my wits' end. After school drop-off this morning, it came to my attention that two of the moms in my child's class were discussing me and my family's financial situation on their children's playdate. A number of the kids in the class are signing up for an extracurricular activity and I decided against putting my daughter in the class due to the cost.

A Brownie troop peddling Girl Scout cookies outside of Sugar HQ in the middle of a weekday sparked this question: when is it appropriate to pull your child out of school? For some parents it is only on rare occasions like to accommodate a family reunion or a doctor's appointment, while other moms and dads allow their children to accrue numerous absences so the family doesn't have to travel during the peak season or to beat weekend traffic on road trips. Growing up, one student in my private school could stay home whenever she wanted if she reimbursed her parents for the missed day's tuition.

From carpools to free snacks and babysitting during PTA meetings, some schools offer small perks so parents can actively participate in their children's education. My daughter's school even has a program that provides eighth graders to babysit your children (free of charge, the students get community service hours) during the school's annual fundraiser. Do you think these types of conveniences will become more mainstream in the future?
