Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Introduce Twins

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick introduced the newest additions to their family, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge this evening. The twins, born on June 22 via a surrogate, join big brother James Wilkie, 6, at the family's home in New York City. When the actors announced their impending twins, they discussed their struggle to conceive another child and their decision to turn to a surrogate. We can only hope that the new cuties don't fight too much over their mom's closet full of goodies!

Sarah Jessica Parker Welcomes Twin Daughters!

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are said to be "over the moon" after welcoming twin daughters last night. According to People :

Born at 3:58 p.m., Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz, and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 lbs. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side."

The actors who are also parents to James Wilkie, 6, were present at the Ohio hospital where their surrogate gave birth to the girls. Congratulations to the party of five!

SJP and Matthew Broderick Expecting Twins Via Surrogate!

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have announced they are expecting twin girls this Summer with the help of a surrogate mother. The couple, who EW reports is "overjoyed," has supposedly been trying for more children for years, and finally turned to surrogacy to make it happen. Sarah and Matthew are mom and pop to 6-year-old political tot and daddy's boy James Wilkie. Congratulations to the lucky family - here's hoping the girls have Sarah's passion for fashion!

Sarah recently told People about James Wilkie's candidate. She said:

"He's really, truly into this election," she says of her little guy's interests. "He's come to this conclusion on his own based specifically on Barack's gender. It's that deep. He's a fan and a true supporter of Barack Obama."

The five-year-old also likes playing with his parents and building things.

Mini Me: Julianne Moore and Liv Helen Freundlich

The Broderick boys aren't the only look-a-likes running the streets of New York lately. Actress mum Julianne Moore picked up daughter Liv Helen Freundlich and a friend from school on Tuesday afternoon.

From their gorgeous red hair to the sparkling almond-shaped eyes, these two beauties also share perfectly petite noses and porcelain complexions. Nobody will be calling them Freckleface Strawberry! Lil Liv has no idea how good she's got it. She's lucky to be a chip off of that stunning block.

The Broderick boys hit the streets of Manhattan Sunday afternoon in their matching puffy Patagonia Down jackets and funky lil sneakers.

While I think James Wilkie's silhouette is more akin to his mum, Sarah Jessica Parker, he's got his father, Matthew's fashion sense. All he needs to complete his daddy's look are some Top Gun aviator sunglasses.

Sarah Jessica Parker Shines Brighter Off Screen

She's a fashion icon for an entire generation of women, and when she's not making headlines for her clothing choices - both on and off the television and movie screens - Sarah Jessica Parker prides herself on her urban family life.

While fans may love her best for playing Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw on both the small and large screens, Parker's role as mom to James Wilkie, 6, is the one that she cherishes. Often seen taking her son to school or palling around New York City with him, she said that she loves "to do everything with him as long as he will have me around . . . brushing his teeth with him is enjoyable right now." So it is no wonder that Parker and husband Matthew Broderick recently announced that they are expecting two new additions to the family - twin daughters - via a surrogate.

Though James Wilkie may sport hand-me-downs from his uncle, we hope the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador's daughters will have the opportunity to rifle through their mama's closet when they are older.
