I can hardly bring myself to buy high-end labels with all the kid mess that comes my way, but I love to gawk and drool over them. For some parents who dress in couture themselves, these are darling duds for their child counterparts.
Big names like Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabanna, and La Garçonne have children's lines.

Marc Jacobs continues his quest to be democratic and give everyone, big or small, old or young, a piece of the good stuff. He's created a "Little Marc Box," which consists of a onesie pajama set and a customized Bearbrick - both of which read: "Marc Who?" - and are targeted for newborns.

A child of the 70s, Esprit, Guess, Polo, Keds, and Kappas were about the only "cool" trends that hit my elementary school. These days, kids are inundated with loads of fabulous options. From designer jeans to Little Marc by Marc Jacobs, parents and tots are paying much more attention to their youngster's apparel.

How did little girls' clothes get so grown-up all the sudden? Perhaps, it's because high-end designers like Phillip Lim and Marc Jacobs have created cream-of-the-crop children's lines suitable for the sophisticated small set.
I know my niece would look darling in this droolicious Chloe dress made for school girls.

Marc Jacobs makes cute mouse flats for fashion–forward mothers who feel the need to add some squeak to their feet.
Now Gymboree has done a similar design for stylish lil ladies with faux suede bunny flats (on sale for $18). Adding to the charm, the shoes have furry tails on the heels, floppy ears on the toes, and elastic straps to keep the lil hoppers in tact.
