Fake pregnancies are quite the phenomenon. Beccah Beushausen, a social worker from Mokena, Ill, recently fooled more than a million readers with her blog of lies about her pregnancy with a terminally ill child. Now, ABC Family is preparing to air Lindsay Lohan's straight to cable flick, Labor Pains, about a secretary who fakes a baby bump to keep her job.

Women desire children for a variety of reasons - maternal instinct, to fill a void in their lives, to share their love or to keep pace with their mommy friends - but few pretend they are expecting to garner attention or perks or salvage relationships. Given the emotional toll fake pregnancies take on unsuspecting victims, do you think they should be considered a crime?

Dina Lohan to Star in Living Lohan

First it was Denise Richards, now it's Dina Lohan. These two Hollywood mamas are putting their lives (and their children's) up for display on reality television. The difference is that Dina's kids crave the attention just as much as her.

Maybe I'm out of line but it seems to me that Dina Lohan is riding the coattails of her star wild child Lindsay Lohan to make herself and her other children famous. Dina told Page Six that they decided to do a reality show because,

We have no choice. Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, it’s better.

Ali Lohan is an aspiring actress who wants to follow in her big sis's footsteps. Lindsay may make a guest appearance every now and then (surely unscripted, riiiight).

Call me crazy, but if my eldest child was in and out of rehab and posing nude on magazine covers, I'd hardly be pushing my 14–year–old daughter to do the same.

Are You a Better Person When Pregnant?

I admit it. I watched Lindsay Lohan's new movie, Labor Pains. As a woman faking a pregnancy, she supported her antics by saying, "I'm a better person when I'm pregnant." It got me thinking - was I a better person while pregnant? I didn't drink and it's been eons since I lit up a cigarette. I attended prenatal yoga and swim classes, drove more cautiously and tried to keep a cool temper in an effort not to stress my unborn baby. I even gave up fast food and dined on fruits and vegetables to up my nutrient intake. Many hormonal mamas-to-be are notoriously known for their devilish moments - a fate from which I was not immune. Pregnancy caused me to be more conscientious, but I'm not sure if it made me a better person. How about you?

Baby Bump: Rachel Zoe Tells How to Dress a Bump

The rich and the famous know her well, and soon you may too. Rachel Zoe is legendary for styling Tinseltown's elite. The teeny blonde has been known to outfit stars like Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Hudson, and other celebs. As her show The Rachel Zoe Project premiered on Bravo last night, she is sure to capture a wider fan base and maybe even some expectant moms.

The petite stylist recently sat down with reporters to dish on her new series. As I'm pregnant, I was curious to hear what the fashion expert had to say about styling a belly bump. To see what she said about dressing mamas-to-be like Jennifer Garner, read more.

On styling a pregnant star and a growing bump like Jennifer Garner:
"One of the loves of my life, yes. I think that a woman being pregnant is the most beautiful time in their life and I think that my job there is to continue to have them keep that same confidence in how they feel and how they look, and just embrace that really. And you just go around that beautiful bump and you have things made. And, it’s very much about comfort and just work with things that are easy, that are really easy and really practical, and really comfortable but still look cute."

I'm interested to see if she works her magic with any pregnant clients on the show. If so, I can't wait to see how she handles that project. I'm guessing lots of Diane Von Furstenberg and potentially custom-made pieces. For a mom on a budget, I may just take her "comfort and practical" comment to heart since couture is not for the likes of me, especially when it's only meant to last a few months.

Dina Lohan Model Mama?

Just when you think the world couldn't get more out of whack, Dina Lohan is being honored for her maternal instincts?

According to an article in OK! the hard partying redhead responsible for raising Hollywood wild child, Lindsay and wanna-be-star in the making, Ali has been named one of Long Island’s Top 20 Moms by Mingling Moms.

To see how Dina earned the award, read more. The story said:

“We’re just honoring celebrities' moms on Long Island,” a spokesperson from Mingling Moms tells OK!. “It’s something for Mother’s Day. It’s a list of mothers from Long Island who have raised superstar children.”

Dina, mama of three will be in good company when she attends the ceremony as other honorees include the mother of the Baldwin brothers, Billy Joel's mom and Natalie Portman's mom.
