Will You Buy Jerry O'Connell's Book on Parenting?

If you didn't love him as Vern in Stand by Me or as Cush in Jerry McGuire, now might be the time when Jerry O'Connell wins your heart. The father of twins Dolly and Charlie has been a stay-at-home dad while his leggy wife, Rebecca Romijn, has been hard at work on her new sitcom Eastwick. In his downtime, the actor turned author and penned a book titled, "Cry, Feed, (Make Love to Wife), Burp." According to Galley Cat:

Jerry will describe life as a very 21st century father in a land of celebrity, the sterile California suburbs, and two-for-one diaper changing - everything from the moment he was told it was time for him to be a father, through the trials and tribulations of conception and childbirth, to the joys and disasters and joys again of staying home to raise two new babies.

I'm intrigued. It could be the perfect shower gift for an expectant papa! Would you buy a copy?

Proud new papa Jerry O'Connell held up his twin daughters' footprints for the paparazzi the other day as he went in the hospital to see Rebecca Romijn. Some husbands stay at the hospital when their wives give birth and others are more comfortable shuttling between her bedside and home. What did your better half do?

There might have been a cattle, I mean celebrity, call to the pumpkin patches this weekend. It seems that every hot tot was ready to pick out the plumpest gourd of all in LA this weekend. Last week, actor Jerry O'Connell told Late Night talk show host Conan O'Brien that his expectant wife, Rebecca Romijn, was huge. Pregnant ladies expect zingers from strangers or friends, but they somehow seem tougher to swallow when they come from your spouse. Realizing the error of his ways, the goofy dad-to-be told People:

I regret calling my wife 'huge' on Conan O'Brien. I meant to say that there are specific areas of my wife that are larger than normal and growing every day. All other portions of my wife are quite petite. I apologize to her and will be coming home with flowers.

Keeping his secret under wraps last Saturday, the daddy–to–be told People that he and his lovely wife were "trying to get pregnant." He added, "It would be amazing if it happened. I hope it does."

The handsome duo is sure to produce a gorgeous pair of darling babes. Congrats to the excited parents–to–be!

Are Four-Named Babies the Newest Trend?

Trends come in threes or is it fours? Last week's births of Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell's twins, Dolly Rebecca Rose O'Connell and Charlie Tamara Tulip O'Connell, as well as Bristol Palin's baby, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, I think we may be on to something - the four-named child. These new parents aren't the only ones around Hollywood (and Alaska) to jump on the bandwagon. Over the past year we have welcomed Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and Harlow Winter Kate Madden. For many, it is hard enough to pick out two names, I can't imagine having to choose a third!
Will we be seeing more babies with four name monikers in the future?
