Sep 24 2008 - 3:00pm Jamie Lynn Spears made headlines lately as pictures her fiancé, Casey Aldridge, took of the young mother nursing their baby were stolen and peddled. Some women bare it all while breastfeeding and those who are more modest opt to cover up. Did you allow your picture to be taken while nursing?
yep...i have at least one photo of me breastfeeding each child when they were just born....can't really seen anything...i think with my second one...i smiled all cheesy like...i have a really
nice black and white photo of me looking down at my 1st son when he was feeding a few days after he was born...my third...i can't remember...but i know i have one!
I didn't take any but wouldn't have been opposed to it. Well that and if the breast feeding thing would have worked out better- I don't think I would have wanted any photos of me pumping
my hubby did take pics of me holding our baby while nursing her, but not full-on breast exposure shots, I would never do those. because that is just too much info. to have out there in a
picture lol All you could see is her face and my shoulder, some skin.
when he was first born in the hospital we have a few pictures my dh took. they're on the computer, i havent gotten them all organized into an album yet (hey i'm doing pretty good w/his baby
book tho) hah. i think it's private tho, and such a shame someone stole these, like this girl doesnt have enough to deal with.
He printed them on Walmart's printer, he didn't turn them in for them to print. It would never occur to me that Walmart would save those photos, I thought they were deleted once they were
printed. Also, maybe he's like me and the photo printers he's tried at home suck and the photos fade after a few weeks.
I have a tasteful picture of me breastfeeding each child. I can't remember who, but someone told me to make sure I have a picture of it because I'll forget what it looked like. Sounded good
enough to me, so we took one.
I have some beautiful shots of me breastfeeding my second child. He was very ill as an infant and didn't get the one week photo both girls got. He was around a month old. They also did some
of his tiny preemie feet in my hands. I cherish them
Wow, you all are so open about it! I was so covered up when breastfeeding it wasn't even funny. It wasn't because I was embarassed to breast feed or thought it was "gross" I just don't like
showing off muh boobies! LOL. Yes, I know in this case they aren't "boobies" but rather more like "bottles" but I couldn't get past it. It's a self conscious thing I think.
(My breast milk didn't even come in until about three days after I gave birth. It was pretty frustrating to begin with. I already had her on the bottle by then obviously.)

That would be a HAYL no!
1I have numerous photos of my kids breastfeeding. I don't display them on the wall or anything, but we have snapshots for our albums.
2I never did, but I wouldn't have minded. I think nursing your child is a beautiful thing.
3I haven't had a child yet. But it's an interesting concept as far as the pictures. Not sure I would ever do it though.
4I never have, but I think it is a nice thing to do.

6Actually this has prompted me to get a professional one done with my daughter, although I hope that doesn't make the boys feel left out. *lol*

9Well a picture that showed the full breast wouldn't have a baby latched on. *lol*
10I want to take a whole bunch of pictures. I saw a picture in black and white of a mother breastfeeding her son and it was beautiful.
11I have but only because hubby took a few of them. i didn't mind it though...obviously they aren't on a wall like another mommy said!
12People were kind enough not to take pictures of me while I was nursing, I'm sure if they asked it would be ok, because I was a modest nurser.
13This family cant afford a frikkin photo printer?
