A woman's got to do what a woman's got to do. Whether she's stripping to pay for her daughter's education or arguing court cases in front of the Supreme Court, moms often find a way to make ends meet to take care of their cubs at home. Some mommies are more proud of their professions while others try to hide the truth from their children. As one of Hollywood's biggest stars, Angelina Jolie's job makes it quite difficult for her to keep her job a secret.

Not ashamed of her roles, the mother of six sat down with UK Harper's Bazaar and chatted about the movie roles she chooses to play.

I tell stories that are about the type of woman I'd want to meet. The type of woman where I think, even if it's silly characters I've played, like in Tomb Raider, there's something about her that will be fun for my daughters to see one day.

When you clock in every day, do you consider how your job affects your offspring and their opinion of you?

Halle Berry Talks About Motherhood to Harper's Bazaar

Hollywood glamour girl Halle Berry seems to have softened since becoming a mom. And we're not talking about her banging postpartum bod that she revealed just months after her daughter, Nahla Aubrey, was born. The Oscar-winning actress appears to be a bit more content with her life. She recently talked motherhood and family to Harper's Bazaar. Here are the highlights:

On her postpartum bod: Having a baby takes so much from you. It's the most glorious thing you'll ever do, but the aftermath is not so glorious! So now I'm having to exercise, eat a little bit differently, take a lot more vitamins.

On Nahla being biracial: Nahla will grow up in a completely different America. Obama is someone who's more like her than not, who shares her history. Hopefully she'll grow up in a world where it'll be easier than I had it. I had a rough time. I was accused of stuffing the ballot box for my high school prom-queen election because they couldn't believe the only black girl in the school won.

On being fulfilled by family: I used to work a lot because I had nothing better to do. What I've learned, especially by having a baby, is that you can't bring that stuff home anymore. For example, I was alone filming Monster's Ball. I was married to someone else, and he wasn't really around much. Thank God that was only a 20-day shoot.

On Nahla's beauty: Let her be sweet because I believe beauty is as beauty does. My hope is that she is sweet and kind because no matter how beautiful you are, ugly ain't cute.

On having more children: Yes. My pregnancy was amazing. I was happy that whole time, I felt good, I had energy, I was like Superwoman. I wish I could feel like that for the rest of my life, that's how fantastic it was.

Are Modern Dads the Housewives of This Generation?

Women spent generations asserting their value in the home and now that some of their spouses have taken on more child-rearing responsibilities, many men are realizing how undervalued being the primary caretaker (or equally sharing the job) can be.

From Harper's Bazaar's photo shoot portraying Chris Noth as Mr. Mom to Michael Lewis's recently published book and essays on fatherhood, Home Game: An Accidental Guide to Fatherhood, men are finding that daddy duty doesn't warrant a round of applause. Lewis argues that since new-era pops are becoming more involved in their tot's lives, they have been thrown from their place of power in the household and placed in one of submissive duty, simply following their wives' childcare directives and becoming little more than the equivalent of hired help.

While moms have suffered from the unappreciated-housewife complex for years, modern dads appear to be getting a taste of it now. Are involved dads being taken of advantage of by their unsuspecting wives?

Nicole Richie Takes the Orbit for a Stroll

In less than a year Nicole Richie has made the unlikely shift from young Hollywood style icon to trendsetting mommy and we love her for it. We've been watching her push her Orbit stroller through Los Angeles recently and though it's not as glamorous as the Silver Cross pram she showed off in Harper's Bazaar, her Orbit deserves functional, yet chic recognition. I adore the Orbit Baby collection because it comes in pieces - a car seat, stroller and base. You can update your baby's ride as he or she grows instead of having to purchase a new stroller. The infant set costs about $900.

Bridget Moynahan Is in Love with a Much Younger Man

Do mothers really dress like this? Actress Bridget Moynahan who is perhaps more famous for being NFL star Tom Brady's baby mama has gone model in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. The svelte single mommy to 9-month-old, John (Jack) is the subject of a sexy pictorial that has the siren pushing a stroller and packing groceries, whisking batter in stilettos and leaning cribside in lingerie. While the shots scream adult playdate rather than multitasking mother of one, the accompanying interview sheds light on the woman who became tabloid fodder when she announced her pregnancy hot on the heels of her public break-up from the New England Patriot's quarterback. She said:

“Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me,” says Moynahan. “But I got so much out of that. It’s golden and it’s tough and it was f*cked up. But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world.”

While raising babe alone isn't the easiest of undertakings, it certainly has its rewards. The article said:

“I have become that mother I used to dread,” Moynahan admits, shamelessly enumerating the things that Jack has been doing lately. As of press time, they included clapping, crawling, and standing up. “Every time he does something, you think he’s a genius.” She pauses and deadpans, “He’s totally a genius.”

Trendtotting: Silver Cross Prams

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony pranced their way through a People magazine spread - each pushing a Silver Cross pram that costs a whopping $2,900. But, when you're getting a cool six million for the shoot, I guess $2,900 is a drop in the bucket, though who knows if they even had to pay for them.

Following in their footsteps, trendsetting mama Nicole Richie and rocker Joel Madden posed for Harper's Bazaar with their babe in a Silver Cross pram.

On their website, Silver Cross boasts that it's been trusted by the British Royal family for generations. Well, if it's good enough for Queen Elizabeth, it's probably fine for Harlow Madden and Max and Emme Muniz.

But, if all the high falootin' Tinseltown mamas replaced their Orbits and Bugaboos with Silver Cross prams, there'd be enough LA sidewalk traffic jams to rival those on the freeways.

Can a Divorced Couple Be One Big Happy Family?

We all know the Moore/Kutcher/Willis clan is the picture-perfect combined family. In the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar, covergirl Demi who posed with her three daughters talked about their family life. She said:

Look, I'm the product of divorced parents, and my brother and I were the pawns in my parents' game. I never wanted that for my kids. At that time, I could not have seen what a gift that situation was, but without that experience, I would not have known there was a different choice to make in my own divorce . . . You know, I didn't get married and have children so I could get a divorce, get remarried, and get along with my ex-husband. But since that is what happened, I am grateful it turned out this way.
