The decision of who or what to be for Halloween is never an easy one no matter what your age. There are so many choices and only one costume can reign supreme. Did your tots go with a princess ensemble, superhero suit, something vampy or something in between?

Sure kids adore the costume aspect of Halloween but the number one reason why wee ones look forward to the ghoulish holiday? The hunt for candy. Chocolate bars, candy corn, and bags of Skittles can make a youngster hopelessly in love with sugar but leave their pearly whites in pain.

There's something extra sweet about a lil one all bundled up in a fuzzy wuzzy animal costume. Don't be mislead by her sheepish grin, Sugarbaby Katie was all chicken on her second Halloween. PopSugar shares:
Although she's been in a princess phase for the past year, my favorite Halloween costume so far on Katie was as a little chicken.

Whether you're visiting the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, or trick-or-treating, most every family has some sort of Halloween tradition they follow year after year. Some do all or none of the above. As my children grow older, it is apparent that our once simple night of staying in and greeting neighborhood goblins is over and a long list of parties and candy collecting is ahead.

Halloween's focus may be on a youngster's costume and the candy he gathers as he makes his way through the neighborhood, but that doesn't mean the party can't start early with some tasty treats.
From school-sponsored bashes to kiddie soirees, Halloween parties offer lil ones another opportunity to show off their costumes and indulge in some sweets to kick off the spooktacular holiday. And if you're planning a haunted house party you'll want simple sweet treats that wow the entire crowd.

Halloween can be scary for tots — especially toddlers who have become more aware of their emotions or are afraid of the dark. My daughter acted squeamish around ghosts and goblins her first few Halloweens, so we opted to keep things light with charming costumes and princess fanfare. Talking and reading books about the holiday — minus the gory details — can help scare off fright.

Halloween brings an extra helping of cuteness when it comes to lil Sugarbabies. We went bananas for a cute lil monkey, peanuts for an elephant and now it's time to go pretty-in-pink with a sugar-filled cupcake. Mama DStirk shares:
While my daughter's costume is a little lost in translation due to it being too hot for her to wear the hat and tights (which really made her costume), she's still the sweetest cupcake I've ever seen.
