took her kiddos to the park for some swing and slide time yesterday. The hands-on mom carted Kingston's bike and lil Zuma on her hip like any other mama of two would do. She also sported her signature rocking red lips and perfectly blown out blond 'do, probably because the shutterbugs are always snapping pics.

I go to the park with my kids almost every day to meet with a bunch of neighbourhood friends and none of us really get "done up" for it. It really depends on what we all have going on and what we have happening after the park. Most of the time we're all happy to have had the time to shower, brush teeth or put on jeans. We've all got 3 or more kids each. We all also tend to be in the rocks, litting on the ground, playing catch or doing summersaults with our kids so anything fancy just gets wrecked!
1Nothing too crazy but I try not to wear sweats and look like a complete slob.
2I agree with jennibean! I don't get my heels on to go to the park, but I definitely make sure I'm at least clean and not wearing pajamas.
3I would if i knew it would be photographed and the pictures were going to be on websites and in magz. Also if I had the time.
4If anything, I dress down! If I'm comfy and I don't have to worry about ruining an outfit, I'm likely to stay longer. The longer my daughter runs around, the better she naps and the better she sleeps at night. So, grungy all the way for me.
