In this month's Glamour, Naomi Watts dishes on the pros and cons of being an "older" mother.

In the article, the 39–year–old actress talks about giving six–month–old Alexander (aka Sasha) a sibling down the road.

When asked about waiting until later in life to start her family, Naomi said:

"Well, for one thing, picking him up off of the ground 20 times is different when you hear your knees cracking! From an intellectual point of view, you’ve had a lot of time to do research and figure out how you want to raise him."

The mama also pointed out the advantages of early motherhood. She said:

"But there is also something to be said about having a child in your early twenties, when you’re just operating on instinct."

It is natural that every parent thinks her child is the most darling being on the planet. In it author Susan Anderson captures the transformation of child to beauty queen. It may make some stomachs turn while it provides inspiration to others. The glitz and glamour of a black tie affair is enough to get any mama giddy about a night on the town. Trading in the sweats for a beautiful gown and primping in front of the mirror – be it for a fancy wedding, a charity event or a school function – can make a mom forget the bickering tots she leaves at home for the evening.

Though Heidi Klum makes it look effortless, finding a maternity dress that flatters an expectant mama's assets and hides her growing bump – especially in her last trimester – is no easy feat. The supermodel and mom of three, who looks to be due any day now, showed off just how sexy pregnancy can be at the Emmy Awards. Forgoing the traditional black empire-waist maternity dress, the Project Runway host opted for a custom black strapless Marchesa gown, remarking, "I wanted something simple because I'm so big."

Wonder Woman: Rachel Weisz Wants to End World Hunger

Oscar winner, fashion muse, hunger advocate and mother, Rachel Weisz, juggles quite a few roles in addition to those that land her on the big screen. The British-born actress is about to embark on a whirlwind media blitz to promote her three new films this Summer, including The Brothers Bloom, which opens this week, and The Lovely Bones. While the tour of television studios will give us a better opportunity to see the beauty on our small screens, it doesn't mean the actress will be converting to the Hollywood lifestyle.

Known for intensely keeping her family-life private, Weisz and her fiancé Darren Aronofsky, director of the Oscar-winning film The Wrestler, welcomed son Henry Chance almost three years ago and quietly live in Manhattan's East Village, far from the glitz and glamour of other Tinseltown stars. Following the filming of her Academy Award-winning role as murdered Kenyan aid worker Tessa Quayle in The Constant Gardener, Weisz joined the UN's World Food Programme to bring global awareness to the hunger and poverty issues facing children around the world, saying:

"Every new mother wonders what will I pass on. Hunger is one inheritance no mother wants to give her child, yet millions of poor mothers have for generations. Help WFP break this cycle. No child inherit hunger."

Weisz recently signed on to play a similarly gritty role in The Whistleblower, the true story of post-war Bosnian peacekeeper who exposes a United Nations cover-up of a sex-trafficking scandal. We look forward to seeing the passion she brings to that project as well.

Halle Berry Talks About Motherhood to Harper's Bazaar

Hollywood glamour girl Halle Berry seems to have softened since becoming a mom. And we're not talking about her banging postpartum bod that she revealed just months after her daughter, Nahla Aubrey, was born. The Oscar-winning actress appears to be a bit more content with her life. She recently talked motherhood and family to Harper's Bazaar. Here are the highlights:

On her postpartum bod: Having a baby takes so much from you. It's the most glorious thing you'll ever do, but the aftermath is not so glorious! So now I'm having to exercise, eat a little bit differently, take a lot more vitamins.

On Nahla being biracial: Nahla will grow up in a completely different America. Obama is someone who's more like her than not, who shares her history. Hopefully she'll grow up in a world where it'll be easier than I had it. I had a rough time. I was accused of stuffing the ballot box for my high school prom-queen election because they couldn't believe the only black girl in the school won.

On being fulfilled by family: I used to work a lot because I had nothing better to do. What I've learned, especially by having a baby, is that you can't bring that stuff home anymore. For example, I was alone filming Monster's Ball. I was married to someone else, and he wasn't really around much. Thank God that was only a 20-day shoot.

On Nahla's beauty: Let her be sweet because I believe beauty is as beauty does. My hope is that she is sweet and kind because no matter how beautiful you are, ugly ain't cute.

On having more children: Yes. My pregnancy was amazing. I was happy that whole time, I felt good, I had energy, I was like Superwoman. I wish I could feel like that for the rest of my life, that's how fantastic it was.

Since she first came on the scene as a teenage waitress in 1988's Mystic Pizza, Julia Roberts has charmed her way into the hearts of theater-goers. Now appearing in her first starring role in five years, the Duplicity star has chosen motherhood over Hollywood glamour. Splitting her time between homes in Taos, NM and New York City, the actress spends more time watching her three tots - twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter, 4, and Henry Daniel,1, - than acting. She recently posed for Allure reading a children's book and told the U.K.'s Telegraph:

"Of course my life has changed and I work less, but I was never really one to work too much. I never really did years of movie-after-movie-after-movie but when you've got three toddlers in the house you're performing all day long, anyway, with puppet shows and stories---I act around the clock."

While many Hollywood mamas talk the talk, Roberts truly appears to walk the mommy walk.

Mother of three and a beauty to boot, Nicole Kidman was honored with a Glamour Women of the Year Award on Monday night. In her speech, the Australian beauty made her love for country crooning hubby evident. She said:

Three and a half years ago a man came along and said, "I'm going to take you to Tennessee." And he took me down there and he said, "I think you deserved to be loved. Let me love you, let me give you a home, and let's make a baby." So thank you, Keith Lionel."

As the voice of UNIFEM's Say No To Violence campaign, she is encouraging everyone to log on and sign the petition to help protect women around the world. She believes:

The mother is the heartbeat of the family. And if you take care of her, everyone does well.
