How dressed-up do you get for the school drop-off line? Mamas taking their kids to a London school are involved in a heated debate about their attire. At opposite ends of the issue are the "yummies" who arrive dressed to impress with coiffed hair and made-up faces and the "slummies," ladies who stick to more casual clothes and natural appearances. Moms at the London school have pointed to Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson and Stella McCartney as examples of how a woman can dress-up without overdoing it and have even created a list of items that warrant a parent being put on the "slummy" list, including maternity clothes, leopard print, sweatsuits, mismatched socks and dirty clothes.

Any new mom will tell you dealing with the logistics of feeding your baby are more important than how your breasts are costumed, but that doesn't solve the great nursing bra dilemma. You still have to worry about leaking, accessibility, comfort and adjusting to life as a lactating woman. Usually, all that criterion leaves little space for style or sexiness.

Luckily, we mothers have former supermodel and mommy Elle Macpherson on our side. Her nursing bras, which retail for about $62, aim to be "as sleek and sexy as your pre-maternity bras." The cups are made of delicate lace with a cotton lining.

Elle Macpherson looks poised for a cover shoot, but she was just out picking up her son, Aurelius Cy Andre Busson, from school on a sweet black cruiser. This supermodel mom doesn't do minivans and tennis shoes. The statuesque mummy looked all too yummy with her sun kissed locks, sporty shades, beaded amulets, geometric skirt, and Grecian sandals. How she rocks those fringed soles while managing a spoked vehicle with a child on board is beyond me.

I'm starting to think that this type of attire is common to the Brits. After all, Claudia Schiffer makes school pick up look like a catwalk, too.

Fashion Week: Marie-Chantal

You’ve called your daughter "princess" since the day she was born, now it is time to start dressing her like one.

Marie-Chantal, the Crown Princess Pavlos of Greece, founded her eponymous clothing line eight years ago after she found herself running from store to store to create an outfit. The mother of four has created a line that includes relaxed pieces for casual play as well as beautiful party frocks in fun and colorful fabrics.

Built on the belief that “children should look like children,” you will find clothing with traditional smocking, simple plaids and small bows. The spring line, which will hit stores in mid-February, reminds me of traditional garden party attire. It includes Page, the yellow dungaree top dress pictured at left and Patsy, a check sheared dress. Even little boys can participate in this party with Pascal, a check shirt.
