Backseat bickering bugs just about every mother, but when a Manhattan lawyer had enough of her quarreling daughters, she kicked them out of the car and drove off. Madlyn Primoff, 45, dropped her tweens in a shopping district three miles from their home on Sunday night and has since pleaded not guilty to child endangerment.
One report said: Police would not say if Primoff ever returned to look for the girls, but they said, without explaining how, that the 12-year-old eventually caught up with the mother.

While the mother of five doesn't deny the charges, she doesn't believe she should have been issued a citation for something the officer didn't see.

I've experienced my share of scary car rides — driving in storms with minimal visibility or with a 14-year-old driver back in high school, but nothing prepared me for the terror that was our car ride home from the hospital with our brand new bundle of joy.
Though my husband painstakingly strapped the safest carseat we could find into our sedan, and checked it 15 more times at my nudging, it wasn't what was inside the vehicle — our daughter, balloons, floral arrangements, bags of baby goods and a life-sized stuffed animal that made me nervous — it was the lack of control of the things outside of those confines.
