Make no mistake about it, Deacon Phillippe is one cool kid who knows what he wants. The cutie patootie is well schooled in one subject - manners. When asking for profound favors, a simple "please" goes a long way.

Instead of demanding global harmony, this World Peace Please ($39) tee says it politely and with a bit of grace. If the pink and white striped number came in my size, I'd buy a few for present and future causes. The classic white dove on the back gives the tee a charming lil look.

Sugardaddy: Brad Pitt

Truth be told, I've been holding off featuring Brad Pitt, the man who in my opinion is the Sugardaddy of them all because he is such an obvious choice.

But after his announcement that he's not going to do nude scenes in the future because he doesn't want his kids to see them, there is no time like the present to pay tribute to the guy who dove head first into fatherhood with not one, not two, not three, but four children. And, it looks like he's loving every minute of it.

From his shirtless debut in Thelma and Louise to his platinum career on the silver screen, we've watched this papa act his way to an Oscar nomination and become a class act as a doting dad. Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh are a lucky lot.

Kiddie Soiree: My Baby's First Cake

My lil girl turned one this past weekend. I have been to a few parties and witnessed all the hullabaloo that was supposedly for baby. The expectations and excitement were high, but my budget was low. I couldn't stomach spending a month's paycheck for a party my darling won't even remember.

At one party I attended, the little girl was presented with a fondant cake. I didn't even order a fondant cake for my wedding. Don't get me wrong - they are beautiful, but, what happened to the good old days of making your own or buying a sheet cake from the local grocer?

Sheet cakes are my favorite because you can get creative with them. I bought a white cake and had my daughter's picture printed on the white icing. I only had to give the baker a 4x6 photo and one day notice.

Like most one-year-olds, my daughter loves seeing her own reflection so it was literally the icing on the cake. She dove into it and giggled. That's what birthdays are about. Sorry expensive fondant cake, you lose.
