No Name Baby: How Long Can a Couple Wait?

Many moms and dads wait until they meet their babe to decide on a definite moniker.

At that point some couples still can't choose, so they take their wee one home from the hospital without a name.

Celeb mama Brooke Burke and fiance David Charvet welcomed a son on March 5. The couple already have Heaven, 1, and Brooke's daughters, Neriah, 7, and Sierra, 5, from a previous marriage.

Brooke recently blogged:

Can you believe that we have waited all our lives for a son and we still have not decided on a name?!

It's a Boy for Brooke Burke and David Charvet!

Brooke Burke gave birth to a bouncing baby boy yesterday! According to In Touch, at 11:31 a.m., she and fiance David Charvet welcomed their first son.

Weighing in at six-pounds and five ounces and stretching 20 and 1/4 inches long, he joins big sister, one-year-old Heaven. And, Brooke's two daughters, Neriah, 7 and Sierra, 5 with ex-husband, Dr. Garth Fisher. The lil man's name is yet to be announced. Congratulations to the growing family!

Brooke Burke's Posh Crib

When decorating your nursery, one of the first things you learn is to be careful where you put the crib - keep it away from windows, especially ones with drapes and curtain strings as they pose choking and strangling hazards.

When I saw Brooke Burke's newly decorated nursery, I was surprised at her choice to adorn the tot's crib with flowing ribbons. It may look pretty, but I have a feeling those strips of fabric won't last long. And to be frank, they probably shouldn't be there in the first place. In this photo, her daughter Heaven Rain already has the ribbons wrapped around her neck.

Brooke Burke Is Expecting Again!

Looks like Brooke Burke's Wild On! days really are over. The 36-year-old stunner and her fiance, David Charvet are expecting a baby next Spring. It will be the second child for the couple who already have 10-month-old daughter, Heaven.

Burke also has two daughters-Neriah, 7 and Sierra, 5 from a previous marriage to plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher.

And, Brooke is no stranger to big families, she has half a dozen siblings of her own.

More Magazines Showcase Belly-Sleeping Babies

Does the "back-to-sleep" campaign only apply to real-life parenting and not the magazines aimed at moms and dads? A study appearing in the September issue of Pediatrics took a look at 28 women's and parenting magazines – from which many mamas learn about new products and techniques – and found that more than one-third of the photos depicting babies showed them in unsafe sleeping positions, while two-thirds showed them in unsafe sleep conditions. The researchers, who looked at photos to determine if the baby was placed on its side or stomach rather than on its back, as well as the presence of bumpers, loose blankets and strings, are nervous that the images will have greater influence over new parents' actions than their doctors' orders. We've seen set designers place tots in some precariously decorated cribs, both with Brooke Burke's ribbon-filled nursery and Jennifer Lopez's extremely plush one, and say the photos were rooms not designed for use, but photos. Do magazine readers make that distinction?
