Mommy Dearest: What to Wear After Giving Birth?

Mommy Dearest,

I am due in a few months and have started thinking about what to take with me to the hospital. I have found lots of options when it comes to PJs and nightgowns and would love to hear your opinion of whether or not it is a good idea to buy some. If so, what type of garment (nightgown, tops and pants, nursing, button down, etc.) should I purchase?

Planning My Hospital Attire,

The button-up nightgown and uber soft socks I wore when my daughter was born, ended up stained and in the trash. So I stuck to the hospital issued gown when I had my son and brought a robe to wrap up in when visitors came. I think your best bet is an inexpensive robe or nursing gown that allows your baby easy access and you mobility when the nurses come in to swap out pads and ice. Model Mamas Hit the Runway For Victoria's Secret

Host, shmost! Heidi Klum claimed she was only going to host the always anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but the mama of four made a surprise appearance and walked her hot self down the runway with her tulleriffic attire. Having given birth to her second daughter, Lou, just over a month ago, she left the crowd in shock and awe. Also in attendance on the catwalk? Alessandra Ambrosio. The leggy new mom bared her toned tummy and long stems alongside veteran Klum. The pair certainly left some mums green with envy.

A couple of ladies noticeably absent from the show? Gisele Bündchen, Karolina Kurkova, and Adriana Lima. Gisele is still sporting her adorable baby bump, while the other two glamorous mommies just welcomed their bundles of joy weeks ago. Did You Unintentionally Dress Like Your Tot?

While flipping through pictures of my daughter as a newborn, I was shocked to find so many of me wearing pastels while cradling my babe. Prior to her birth, I was big on black and jewel toned clothing, but I guess outfitting her in soft hues had me subconsciously thinking pink. It seems Isla Fisher has been experiencing some of Olive's attire desire as well. Did this happen to you?
