Pet Profiles: Meet the Beautiful Beauregard Breaux

Last week we saw Zach Braff's cute Scooter and it turns out that the cousin of a Sugar staffer picked up a pup from that same litter! We've been cooing over the pictures of little Beauregard Breaux and now it's your turn to learn all about him in the latest pet profile.

PetSugar: When did you get your dog and what's his breed?
juliex0x0: We got Beau on Aug. 1, 2010 when he was only 11 weeks old. He is a purebred French Bulldog.

PS: What's your daily pet routine?
juliex0x0: Wake up around 7am, quick walk outside, eat, sleep, play, sleep, eat, play, sleep, play, sleep, eat, play, sleep! Since he is still a baby he sleeps a LOT

PS: What's your pet's favorite food, pastime, and treat? juliex0x0: He is still so new to us so we are slowly figuring out what he likes. Since he is teething, he pretty much likes to chew on everything, especially things that are off limits! He loves running around in our front yard, watching the cars go by, and greeting anyone who walks by! I gave him a bully stick a few days ago and that is definitely his favorite thing right now, it smells disgusting, but it entertains him for long periods of time, which is not easy to do with a puppy! PS: What was your all-time favorite moment with your pet? juliex0x0: The first night we got him, Beau was a bit shaky. After a little while he began to warm up to us, and that night he fell asleep cuddled up in my lap. My heart completely melted. Want to see your familiar furry faces up next in the series? Sugarbaby: Baby Beau

Our Sugarbaby this week is a wee lil one from New York City. This munchkin of a baby is learning how to stay warm in the Big Apple.

Baby Beau entered this world just a little over one month ago. Her parents were thrilled to welcome her – the best Christmas gift they have ever had. Pretty in pink, the tiny fashionista she already has some favorite designers – "Beau"berry tops the list.

To see more of this darling baby girl, read more. She loves to eat, sleep and poop. Of course, her beverage of choice is milk. And, she's already a beach babe – retreating to the coast for weekend jaunts. Life is pretty good for lil Beau since she has Mommy and Daddy wrapped around her itty bitty pink fingers. But they aren't her only fans. Aside from her human family doting on her, she has two dogs that are very interested in the little doll. If they had their druthers, they'd be licking and pouncing around the tiny tot day and night. We are happy for these glowing parents and hope to see more of Baby Beau in our Sugarbabies group. Announcing the 2012 Oscar Nominations!

The 2012 Oscar nominations have been announced! Lots of award season regulars, like The Artist and The Descendants, got some love, but there were also a handful of surprises, like nominations for Nick Nolte, Gary Oldman, and Terrence Malick. Bridesmaids also scored big, with noms for best original screenplay and best supporting actress for Melissa McCarthy.

The Academy chose nine films for best picture, with lots of familiar titles in there, plus a couple that had early awards buzz but haven't necessarily had consistent attention, like Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and The Tree of Life. The films that racked up the most nominations were Hugo with 11 and The Artist with 10.
