Jessica Alba Adds Some Glamour to the Business World in a Photo Shoot Celebrating The Honest Company

She's much more than just a pretty face! Jessica Alba knew she was on to something when she couldn't find a cute, affordable, and eco-friendly diaper after Honor Marie, 3½, was born. And it looks like other people are on to her now too. Jessica, through her founding of The Honest Company, was just recognized as one of the 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company magazine. The actress, activist, and mom of two (lil Haven is 9 months old) posed in a beautiful photo shoot for the magazine, both with and without her daughters, and spoke about the inspiration for her latest venture. Among the parts of the interview that didn't make it into the magazine were her desire to shake up kiddie design and the obstacles she's overcome to get this far.

On incorporating modern design elements: Your baby is so cute, and you have to put a diaper on, and all of a sudden, it's like, wait, there's a paper bag on my baby's bottom! So once we got the effectiveness of our diapers down, I was like, "Why not make it cool?" I have tattoos, I have piercings, I grew up on MTV, I am a global citizen, I've been connected to the Internet pretty much my whole life; I feel like there's no company that speaks to me as a modern mom. I wanted to appeal to different types of aesthetics out there. So for boys' diapers - my partners thought I was completely cuckoo bananas - but we have skulls on a diaper, because I'm obsessed with Alexander McQueen and he makes skulls beautiful. And they were like, "Skulls on babies? No way!" And it's been one of our number one sellers, because people even like them on their girls, believe it or not. So we had anchors, as well, for the more traditional mom, and gingham.

On the whirlwind of creating a new company: I've been through lots of trials and tribulations, and I've learned a lot, and I now appreciate the uphill battle and struggle, because it forced me to be more tenacious and more focused and more passionate than I ever imagined that I could have been. I think that was probably the biggest lesson that I've learned.

Ten air jets spew out bubbles, while underwater LED lights emit "chromatherapy" light rays. The tub is designed for newborns to 6-month-olds in a reclining position and for 6- to 12-month-olds in a sitting position.

Wondering what the MagicBath will set you back? A whopping $2,186. While the absurdly high price tag probably takes the tub out of range for most of us, we wonder if any of this year's new celeb moms will treat their little ones to the at-home spa (Maxwell Drew and Blue Ivy, we're talking to you!)

Graduation Registries: Tacky or Useful?

Online registries have long been reserved for marriages and baby showers, but recently, high school and college graduates are creating them too as a virtual wish list for relatives looking to celebrate with a gift. Nevertheless, it's hard to say whether it's appropriate or not to ask for specific items from relatives and family friends.

Walmart, Target, Amazon, Dorm Co, and MyRegistry are just a few registry options for graduates. These companies offer a wide range of price points, so graduates can tag inexpensive items like desk supplies as well as expensive items like computers or kitchen gadgets.

It's Mother's Day weekend and the talk show hosts are pulling out all the stops to remind us (and hopefully our husbands) just how amazing we moms are. Over on Anderson, the host and his own mother Gloria Vanderbilt surprised Jessica Alba and her mom with a sweet video message from the actress and healthy living advocate's husband and kids, Honor, 3, and Haven, 8 months, whom she hadn't seen in five days.

During the conversation about Jessica's new eco-friendly baby care line, The Honest Company, she told Anderson that she always wanted to be a mom, saying, "I always knew I was going to be a mom, and then when I found out I was pregnant and I was going to be a mom I had this awakening that I wanted to protect my child from everything that I possibly could." How about you?

Jessica Alba Gets a Head Start on Mother's Day Celebrations in NYC

Jessica Alba continued her string of recent public appearances at the Outstanding Mother Awards in NYC yesterday. She chose a printed Narciso Rodriguez dress for the event, which honored Nina Garcia and Gayle King, and topped the look off with a leather jacket for a visit to the Anderson studios later in the day. Jessica's other obligations this week included a stop by the Biggest Baby Shower Ever with her Honest Company cofounder Christopher Gavigan and a glamorous night at the Met Gala. Jessica chose a metallic Michael Kors gown for her turn in front of the cameras at the fashionable bash.

The fun should continue for Jessica since Sunday is Mother's Day, and she's just one of many celebrity moms who have welcomed children within the last year. She gave birth to Haven in August, making her oldest daughter Honor a big sister.

Jessica and Christopher launched Honest Company earlier this year and answered questions during a seminar on parenting. It was Jessica's latest moment in the spotlight after she attended the Met Gala on Monday. Jessica wore a gold Michael Kors gown for the bash and mingled with Edward Norton and Hilary Swank. Her travels have taken her away from daughters Honor and Haven and husband Cash Warren, though, and she tweeted today "Missing my babes so much right now."

Don't Drink Bacteria: How to Disinfect Your Reusable Bottle

The beauty of the reusable water bottle is that it's just that - reusable. You can repeatedly head to the water cooler or faucet to fill 'er up, but when your bottle continually stays wet, you know what that means? Yep, bacteria loves a moist, dark environment. Along with your dinner dishes, it's good to get in the habit of cleaning your bottle every night, or at least every few days. Here are some ways you can get rid of the germies and grime.

Throw it in the dishwasher: Some bottles are dishwasher-safe, so check the bottom of your bottle or the brand's website to make sure. Kleen Kanteen Classic stainless steel bottles are dishwasher safe, as well as some products from Nalgene, although it's recommended to clean SIGG water bottles by hand.

Wash it with warm soapy water: Pour out any leftover liquid, add a few drops of dishwashing soap and some warm water, screw on the top and shake for a minute or so. It's smart to invest in a bottle brush like this so you can scrub deep inside your bottle, especially if it has a narrow mouth. Thoroughly clean the cap and straw as well and allow to airdry overnight.
