A number of British parents are upset over a BBC children's channel, CBeebies, whose host is differently abled. Cerrie Burnell's right arm ends just below her elbow. Parents have complained to the network that she is causing their tots to have nightmares.

There are near endless myths about ways to determine your baby's sex, but most of you seem skeptical about seriously trying to influence your baby's gender. That's not a universal truth — news from Britain says a growing number of couples are undergoing procedures at clinics overseas to determine the gender of their babies.
BBC recently captured footage of Londoners at a Turkish fertility clinic that guaranteed if pregnancy occurred it would be of the chosen sex.

Growing up, I loved playing with my endless supply of Barbie gear. My best friend and I joined forces to throw Barbie bashes almost daily.

While many parents pine for a child of a particular sex, with emerald eyes or mathematical abilities, others prefer offspring like themselves — those that are not the conventional idea of perfection.
According to a BBC article, a hearing impaired British couple are parents to one deaf child and would like another. Due to the mother's age, they will have to rely on in-vitro fertilization and would prefer a deaf embryo.

There's some good news for women wishing to be with child according to a study published in the British Medical Journal. Research showed that acupuncture might increase the chances of infertility treatments working since for every ten IVF cycles done with the healing method, there was an extra pregnancy. A British mum owes her life to her twin daughters. Diagnosed with cervical cancer while expecting, Michelle Stepney refused to terminate her pregnancy to have a hysterectomy.
Instead, she opted for limited chemotherapy and to carry her unborn babies to term.

Rock stars often have inexplicable sex appeal. Maybe it's they way they jam on the guitar or toss their tousled hair from side to side, but for me Dave Grohl's appeal is directly linked to the father factor — how adorable he is with his 21–month–old daughter, Violet Maye.
Quite the family man, he and wife Jordyn Blum, are often seen hanging out at the park and farmer's market with their wee one.
