Under Age and Under the Knife: How Soon Is Too Soon?

I know a few ladies who got boob enhancements instead of a fancy dinner or watch for their high school graduation gift. I think my parents would have chosen death before giving me silicone implants.

But these days, many moms are all for "bettering" their child's exterior. Star did a side by side comparison of Ali Lohan from May 2007 to March 2008. Clearly the 14–year–old would have been required to have one of her parent's (I'm guessing the lovely Dina's) permission to plump up her kisser. I'm doubting that those lips are just puckered for the pictures.

At what age, if ever, would you allow your child to go under the knife or needle?

Dina Lohan to Star in Living Lohan

First it was Denise Richards, now it's Dina Lohan. These two Hollywood mamas are putting their lives (and their children's) up for display on reality television. The difference is that Dina's kids crave the attention just as much as her.

Maybe I'm out of line but it seems to me that Dina Lohan is riding the coattails of her star wild child Lindsay Lohan to make herself and her other children famous. Dina told Page Six that they decided to do a reality show because,

We have no choice. Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, it’s better.

Ali Lohan is an aspiring actress who wants to follow in her big sis's footsteps. Lindsay may make a guest appearance every now and then (surely unscripted, riiiight).

Call me crazy, but if my eldest child was in and out of rehab and posing nude on magazine covers, I'd hardly be pushing my 14–year–old daughter to do the same.

Dina Lohan Model Mama?

Just when you think the world couldn't get more out of whack, Dina Lohan is being honored for her maternal instincts?

According to an article in OK! the hard partying redhead responsible for raising Hollywood wild child, Lindsay and wanna-be-star in the making, Ali has been named one of Long Island’s Top 20 Moms by Mingling Moms.

To see how Dina earned the award, read more. The story said:

“We’re just honoring celebrities' moms on Long Island,” a spokesperson from Mingling Moms tells OK!. “It’s something for Mother’s Day. It’s a list of mothers from Long Island who have raised superstar children.”

Dina, mama of three will be in good company when she attends the ceremony as other honorees include the mother of the Baldwin brothers, Billy Joel's mom and Natalie Portman's mom.
