When Adam Sandler uses his talents for cuteness (as opposed to, say, Zohan) it can be so good. I've enjoyed watching him work with kids in the past — I can never resist Big Daddy when it's on TV, and I think he shines in the scenes with his tween daughter in Spanglish. Now I'm happy to see him at the center of a new Disney movie that looks completely adorable.

That lover of guyliner Russell Brand and Adam Sandler looked like the best of friends as they arrived at London's Boujis nightclub last night, laughing and joking together as Russell put his arm around Adam's shoulder. While Russell's reportedly a bit put out by being told he's forbidden to say certain things during his MTV Video Music Awards hosting in September, he's got big love for this American pal, saying:

Last year Matt Damon and Ben Affleck celebrated their holiday weekend with a BFF family trip to Hawaii, and this year they were back together for a different reason. The Boston boys showed off their skills, along with friends like Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle, at the 2nd annual Ante Up for Africa charity poker tournament in Las Vegas last night. From the looks of those big smiles, they didn't have a problem whether they were losing or winning, it was all for a good cause.
