lil Big Screen: Bedtime Stories
I've been a sucker for Adam Sandler since Saturday Night Live, and even more so after he chatted up his daughters on Letterman, but it was my 4-year-old who practically dragged me to his latest flick, Bedtime Stories, after she saw it rained gumballs in the trailer.
Once we settled into our seats to watch the story of Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), a hotel handy man who collaboratively tells imaginative tales with his niece and nephew that come true, I was enjoying the movie as much as my daughter. The four bedtime fantasies — Medieval, old West, ancient Greece, and outer space — are brought to life with the cast members playing roles in each tale.

When the funny man stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman to promote his new, kid-friendly flick, Bedtime Stories, the daddy of two got to talking about his mother's issue with his second daughter's name, Sunny. It turns out the older Sandler thought it was more a nickname than a given one so he joked that his baby's birth certificate reads, "Sunday Night Football."

Funnyman Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie Sandler, welcomed baby girl Sunny Madeline into the world on November 2. An update on the comedian's website said "Everyone is happy and healthy." The Sandlers must love the "S" names — the couple's daughter Sadie was born in May 2006.

Adam Sandler has had us in stitches since he sang Red Hooded Sweatshirt on Saturday Night Live, but these recent pictures of The Waterboy on the beach in Hawaii with daughter Sadie stole our hearts. And, it seems like Big Daddy is quite the family man with rumors swirling that the 1-year-old may be becoming a big sister. Though nothing has been confirmed, Jackie's belly sure looks like a baby bump.
