It disgusts me that the paps harass kids like this. I don't LIKE it when they harass the stars, but at least with them they signed on for the publicity. For the most part they are prepared for it.

The kids should be OFF LIMITS, I don't care HOW cute they are.

Of course they shouldn't. Where would you draw the line? Should Obama give up his presidency to protect his children's privacy? It's silly to even think it's a question, in my opinion.

And celebrities don't "decide to keep them in the limelight while pursuing high profile careers." They decide to keep their job after kids, just like a lot of regular folk.

good point, greggie. it's not the parents' fault, it's not like they're going out asking for their children to be harassed. but some stars don't seem to have this issue, I'm thinking Julia, why's it so much easier for her?

She doesn't work much, for starters. She also lives in areas where it's more difficult to get pictures, which isn't as realistic for someone who works regularly.

Choosing to work regularly does have the side effect of keeping children in the limelight, but it's not the same as choosing specifically to keep the children public.

I also think that people like the Jolie-Pitts, no matter where they live or how much they work, they're going to be pursued for a good long time.

Some parents do put their children in the limelight for publicity. I won't name them here, but with some of the celebrities it's obvious that's what they're doing.

For those that aren't, LIKE Julia and Reese, there's no reason they shouldn't work, but the paparazzi need to use some common sense.

Oh I agree some do, I just completely disagree with the story's claim that anyone pursuing a high-profile career is choosing to put their child in the limelight. And there are some that can go completely low-profile and have years before they're left alone. It's just not always a choice they can make.
