Jillian Harris and Molly Mesnick Collaborate on a Modern Gender-Neutral Nursery

It seems like just yesterday that we shared the details of The Bachelor season 13 contestant Molly Mesnick's baby shower.

It seems like just yesterday that we shared the details of The Bachelor season 13 contestant Molly Mesnick's baby shower. Fast-forward a few months, and Molly and Jason Mesnick are now parents to baby Riley Anne and are proudly showing off the nursery they designed with a lot of help from their good friend — and former Bachelorette star — Jillian Harris.

"I knew that I wanted the room to feel crisp, fresh, and not-so-baby. Not knowing the gender of baby Mesnick, I also wanted the colors to be neutral," Molly shared. "Jillian took my feedback and a few examples of rooms I liked from Pinterest to come up with the most incredible vision board."

The resulting nursery is a beautiful mix of modern and classic with neutral colors that didn't scream yellow. Click through to see all of the fine details found throughout the room.

Tori Spelling Shares the Details on Finn's Giraffe-Filled Nursery

We're excited to bring you a new post from mother and actress Tori Spelling!

We're excited to bring you a new post from mother and actress Tori Spelling! Every other week, we bring you the best parenting and lifestyle advice from ediTORIal by Tori Spelling, Tori's daily blog about everything from food and fashion to parenting and relationships. This week, Tori shares the details of baby Finn's nursery.

I am so excited to share these photos of Finn's nursery with all of you! With each of my babies, designing their nurseries has been a really special and important time for me, and with Finn, it was actually incredibly therapeutic. Because I spent months in the hospital while I was pregnant with Finn, coming up with design concepts for Finn's nursery gave me hope, and I've been waiting to share my process with all of you for a long time.

When I found out I would be spending a good portion of my pregnancy with Finn confined to a hospital bed, I knew that I needed some major help to decorate Finn's nursery. Also, because of the condition I had, placenta previa, I needed to decorate the nursery fast, because there was always a possibility that I would deliver extremely early. With all of this in mind, I knew exactly who to call on to help me — two of my besties Bill Horn & Scout Masterson, aka the Guncles. Not only do they have impeccable taste, but they also run a supersuccessful baby-and-kids product PR firm called Marque Communications and know about all of the latest and greatest in nursery decor.

Wren's Globe-Trotting, Industrial Nursery

Baby Wren's parents spent a majority of their preparenting days exploring the world, so when it came time to settle down and create a permanent space for their new arrival, they wanted the room to reflect their wanderlust. "My husband and I love traveling, maps, and National Geographic," says Wren's mom, photographer Heather Cook Elliott. "We thought it would be great to design a room for our new little traveler using the magazine as the inspiration."

Heather also had to consider the unusual layout of her home: "an old warehouse with cream city brick and half-height walls." "Our baby's room is also part of the living space in a way that most nurseries aren't, so we wanted the room to be adult and modern," she says. The result is a space that highlights the couple's traveling spirit with photos Heather took while on a safari in Tanzania, an awesome and affordable globe mobile, and lots of National Geographic yellow, along with modern elements (check out the white leather rocker!) that come together to create one gorgeous, global nursery.

A Serene, Dreamy Nursery For Twins

Some might call Susan Hutchinson — an interior designer who focuses on baby and kid spaces, an event and editorial stylist, and a blogger — a bit crazy for creating an almost-all-white nursery for her boy/girl twins, due next month.
