On a recent scorching hot afternoon, I came across a group of kids selling the tastiest strawberry lemonade in the middle of a busy intersection. Their innocence and excitement each time a passerby stopped to buy a cup was inspiring. Here are my picks for creating the best lemonade stand on the block!

Wee Are the World: Sunkist's Take a Stand Campaign

Sunkist is giving kids portable stands so they can make charitable lemonade.

Sunkist is giving kids portable stands so they can make charitable lemonade. The citrus giant is making a sweet deal with children aged 7 to 12 — sell juice from a portable stand they ship and then donate the proceeds to a good cause. Their Take a Stand campaign recruited more than 15,000 kids from the United States and Canada in 2008.

The company plans on sending out 20,000 more stands this year. If your youngster wants to be part of this Summer project, fill out an online application. Tips for running a profitable business and thirst quencher recipes can also be found on the site.
