Following a collaboration with Bugaboo on Cameleon and Bee-clad strollers and the introduction of the design house's Spring and Summer 2012 styles for baby, the highly anticipated Missoni for Target collection is about to hit the discount retailer, and it is packed with more than 25 designs for girls and tots.

Part of the 400-piece collection, lil girls and their mamas will find sweaters, skirts, shoes, scarves, and hats — many of them mini versions of mama's pieces — among the bright and colorful pieces. The limited-edition "Little Ann" outfit, made up of a hand-embroidered top ($78) and a matching silk crinkle skirt ($78) will hit select stores and the company's website next month. The twirl-ready Mexican-inspired outfit – created by Lisa Axelson, Ann Taylor’s head of design and a new mom herself – will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with 60 percent of sales going to the organization. For mamas loving the look themselves, a matching outfit will be available in grown-up sizes, with grown-up prices to match ($128 for the top and $118 for the skirt).

New York Fashion Week is over, and while we saw an amazingly eclectic mix of upcoming trends for this Fall, there were some seasonal mainstays that will continue to be popular. Lace, fur, and shearling were featured prominently, so if you want to get your lil girl ready for back-to-school trends (or just get a jump on the trends this Winter), stock up on some of these cute — and on sale — clothes now!
