Behind the Scenes at Tori Spelling's Little Maven Glamping Launch Party
We're excited to bring you a new post from mother and actress Tori Spelling! Every other week, we bring you the best parenting and lifestyle advice from ediTORIal by Tori Spelling, Tori's daily blog about everything from food and fashion to parenting and relationships. This week, Tori shares a glamping party she threw to celebrate her new clothing collection.
We recently threw the official launch party for Little Maven, my line of chic baby and kids' clothing with JCPenney. The theme of the day was glamping (glamorous camping, of course!) at Camp Little Maven.

It's no secret I'm an avid party planner, so I was so excited to leave no camping detail behind. Camp Little Maven included everything from a faux campfire, s'mores station, crafting tables (obviously), a fishing pond, and designer teepees (designed by moi), plus so much more. Here is my picTORIal and detail inspirations from our day of glamping . . .

How to Pull Off a Chic Mommy-and-Me Style Just Like a Celeb
Admittedly, the first word that comes to mind when I think of wearing matching mom-and-daughter outfits is "cheesy." But I've definitely been guilty of dressing my daughter in a coordinating style without even thinking about it. I try not to take it too far, but I have had missteps: we once made it all the way to a party before I realized we were both in pale pink pants and white, cap-sleeved, embroidered tops. (Cute on one of us. On both? Slightly embarrassing.)
However, it seems my daughter and I are in good company when it comes to our unintentional (?) matching styles. Some of the most fashionable celeb moms, including Katie Holmes, Jessica Alba, and Alessandra Ambrosio, have recently been spotted looking quite similar to their daughters Suri, Honor, and Anja. Keep clicking to check out how they made mommy-and-me matching look super chic!
Cozy Critters! Get a Preview of Oeuf's Fall Collection
Oeuf is one of the hippest kids' companies out there (it's no surprise after looking at the founders' amazing home, complete with a living room trapeze swing!). But when the company sent us a preview of its Fall clothing and goodies, we were still taken aback by the level of coolness.
Oeuf has created a collection that is completely kid-friendly on multiple levels. First, the all-knitwear line is supercozy and comfy, but it's also incredibly whimsical and fun. Masks, tails, capes, crowns, and more turn everyday dressing into a game of dress-up. And, believe us, your kids will look much more hip in a knitted owl mask or giraffe tail than they ever could in that princess dress or superhero cape. Keep clicking to see some of our favorite looks from the Oeuf Fall line.

Don't Miss Oh Joy's Limited-Edition Baby Line!
We're officially obsessed with all things Oh Joy, including the beyond adorable nursery designer Joy created for her daughter, Ruby. So it's no surprise that Joy's latest project — a limited-edition line of baby dresses and rompers featuring her signature Petal Pusher pattern — has us swooning. The four pieces, all available in sizes from 3-6 months up to 18-24 months, are available exclusively at Winter Water Factory and were all inspired by Joy's sweet daughter.
"When I dress Ruby, I tend to gravitate toward mixing and matching modern and bold prints and patterns rather than things that seem too precious and baby-like," Joy says. "And, I tend to love things that are feminine yet with a playful and sophisticated mix. So I wanted to turn one of my most popular patterns into a couple pieces that would would be fun for baby, too!" Check out the
