Lil Community: Seeking Eco-Friendly Diaper Advice

Have an eco-baby on your hands?

Have an eco-baby on your hands? sienna is looking to make the switch but needs some help. She posted her question in The Mommy Club group.

I am currently pregnant with baby number three, and I am looking for an alternative to Pampers/Huggies/Luvs etc. I had read about gDiapers, but I haven't met anyone who has any experience with them. They seem like an excellent choice! Thanks so much!

Green Diapers Go Girly With Ruffles

Cloth diapers have come a long way from the cotton nappies and safety pins used by our previous generations.

Cloth diapers have come a long way from the cotton nappies and safety pins used by our previous generations. Today's mamas have options with biodegradable liners that can be flushed down a toilet as well as hybrid versions that can be composted for fertilizing.

But now, green diaper brand, gDiaper is going girly girl with their sassy lil ruffle diaper. The plastic-free creations have a machine washable cotton outer pants and 100 percent biodegradable snap-in liners. Similar to fancy pants, these bottoms are fit for wee fashionistas.

When I was laid up on the couch for the first few weeks of my baby's life, I watched more television than I could imagine. Much of it was background noise, but somehow the barrage of detergent and diaper commercials had me questioning the brands I bought.

I still buy a variety of brands (sometimes what's on sale) and I'm not sure which one I like best, but I do have a few favorites.

Which ones do you think work best?
