Le Bébé Coo's Color-Enhancing Tear-Free Shampoos: Kid-Friendly or Are You Kidding?

Does she or doesn't she?

Does she or doesn't she? Only her hairdresser (or in this case her bath-giver) knows for sure! Moms can spend a fortune trying to replicate the hair color they sported as kids, but rarely does it look as natural as it did all those years ago. While children have been cited as the cause of gray hair for many mamas, it's the baby's hair color that Le Bébé Coo is targeting with its Color-Enhancing Tear-Free Shampoos ($22). Available in blond, brunette, or red, the baby and tot shampoos use natural ingredients like aloe leaf juice, coconut, and chamomila to "bring your child's natural hair color to full life." The paraben- and sulfate-free formulas are also said to cut through pool chlorine, which can turn light-haired tykes' tresses green. Maybe it's just us, but isn't a baby's hair color beautiful just the way it is? Or could your child's mane use some support?

What's Your Favorite Wintertime Baby Lotion?

Keeping your baby moisturized becomes even more important during the dry, itchy Winter months, but finding a favorite baby lotion can take a lot of trial and error.

Keeping your baby moisturized becomes even more important during the dry, itchy Winter months, but finding a favorite baby lotion can take a lot of trial and error. We've done some leg- (and belly-, back-, and arm-) work and come up with our favorite five moisturizers just for little ones. BabyGanics Extra Gentle Daily Lotion ($20 for two) has a subtle fragrance and absorbs beautifully. We love the sweet scent, nongreasy feel, and cute packaging of Aden + Anais's Mum + Bub Ultra-Gentle Lotion ($16) so much that we've been known to use it ourselves. Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream ($10) is an affordable drug-store classic that we return to again and again because of its great thick but not-greasy texture. Burt's Bees Fragrance-Free Baby Lotion ($21 for two) is wonderfully thick and lush, making for some long-lasting moisture. And Weleda Calendula Baby Lotion ($16) is perfect for delicate skin with its blend of organic and natural plant extracts. Do you have a favorite among our picks? Or did we miss your go-to baby lotion? Weigh in below.

BabySpa Face Cream: Kid-Friendly or Are You Kidding?

We've tried dozens of lotions and creams for infants, but BabySpa's Soothing Face Cream — yep, it's made just for baby and toddler faces!

We've tried dozens of lotions and creams for infants, but BabySpa's Soothing Face Cream — yep, it's made just for baby and toddler faces! — is a first for us. The product line, which also includes more traditional body washes, lotions, and diaper creams, is inspired by therapeutic spa cultures and ancient traditions. Each product comes in two versions: stage one for infants through crawlers, and stage two for toddlers through preschoolers.

Stage one Soothing Face Cream ($11) contains botanical songa, an ingredient used by ancient Native Americans for its soothing properties, along with skin conditioners including jojoba oil, beeswax, and shea butter. The stage two face cream ($11) has a combination of pomegranate and honey to moisturize and jojoba and evening primrose oil to soothe. More Native American botanicals, nyamplung oil and kizis, add a dose of SPF.

So what do you think? Do babies deserve their own skin care line? And would you invest in a baby face cream? Weigh in below.

Bebe au Lait’s Four-Sided Quibs: Kid-Friendly or Are You Kidding?

We're all for convenience products, but is a four-in-one bib really necessary?

We're all for convenience products, but is a four-in-one bib really necessary? Yes, says Bébé au Lait! The brand (which also makes Hooter Hiders) just launched Lille by Bébé au Lait, a line of hooded towels, blankets, and the very cleverly named Quibs. Touted as the "world’s first quadruple bib," a Quib ($14 each) is a reversible bib offering four sides. Two are made of terry cloth, while the other two feature Lille's signature cityscape (shown above), swirls, or fishies prints. Oversize for maximum coverage, Quibs have two double-sided magnets, making them easy to put on and take off, but the real draw is those four sides, which means you won't have to wash the bib after every meal. So what do you think? Is this a genius invention or just another cute, but unnecessary baby product? Weigh in below!

OnSugar Blog: The One Thing You Don't Need

Lots of moms like to think out loud, and PatiBF is one of them.

Lots of moms like to think out loud, and PatiBF is one of them. This is the latest post to her Baby Style blog.

I remember seeing a wipes warmer at Buy Buy Baby when I was pregnant and thinking "Do I need that too? The wipes must feel really cold!" Well thank goodness I didn't fall for it because obviously Sandra never seemed to mind if the wipes weren't perfectly tepid. She probably would've minded, however, if I was using the warmer all along and then one day ran out of batteries or the thing broke. So the lesson here is, there aren't too many gadgets you "need" at all! Check out the other items I'm glad I didn't buy.
