The first steps are a memorable milestone! While every baby moves at his or her own pace, parents are often eager to give their wee one a jump-start to teetering on their own. A mom can peruse the store's aisle for hours and still have no clue what to buy to motivate her tot so here are five products that got my lil ones up and walking!
They're cute, creative, and keep wee ones warm, but BabyLegs' ($12) best use is one I recently discovered. My littlest guy just turned nine months and is all over the place — crawling, cruising, and pushing his walker — so he's been dragging his limbs across our hardwood floors and continues to take the occasional tumble. As his chubby legs thin out, the caps of his knees have gotten a bit of a floor burn when he's wearing just a diaper or onesie. Rather than keep him in sweats (that tend to crawl up) for cushion, I've been slipping BabyLegs on him around the house. In addition to padding him as he goes, he loves staring at their funky designs.
