Spa parties seem to be quite the kid trend right now, and this one, thrown by Michele Brown of Sweet Threads Clothing, is a great example of why the theme is both mom and kid friendly. Built-in beautifying activities mean pint-size guests will be wildly entertained, but the necessity of having adults (professional or amateur; Michele hired two high school students to give the girls beauty treatments while the moms relaxed) to paint nails means a limited guest list works best — always a good thing for moms. While I've seen a few spa parties actually thrown at a nail salon (even less work for Mom!), Michele chose to throw her adorable version at home.
