Methinks this news anchor knew exactly what he was doing when he asked his counterpart an "innocent" question. She took the bait and delivered all the news that's fit to embarrass. And by "news," we're talking bedroom behavior. Girlfriend's probably still kicking spanking herself for this on-air slip.
Animals have their peculiarities. Cats seem to have more of them. Here's a vid of yet another cat that likes getting spanked. This one goes into a frenzy when the spanker stops briefly, and it seems to be filmed inside some cat spa or something. Maybe it's getting a shi-catsu massage? Heh heh. (Thanks for the send, flippy!)
Okay, ladies, I appreciated your thoughtful engagement around yesterday's post about the recent research on spanking children as a form of discipline, and I also noticed a little side conversation about the post's title.
The fact that this kind of spanking leapt to mind first for several of you got me naturally curious, of course.

Many of us grew up in a time when spanking wasn't questioned or criticized. Even when I was in highschool, our principal would discipline students with a wooden paddle, if he had a "paddle permit" from the student's parents. And most parents did sign the permit.
However, most psychologists and pediatricians now believe that parents should never strike a child. Even assemblywoman Sally Lieber (D-Mountain View) is proposing a bill that would make it illegal to hit children younger than 4.

"You've been a naughty, naughty cat and I must give you a spanking." If there were any doubts that cats were, umm, eccentric, this should put them to rest. This cat is all but saying to his owner "Yes, sir, may I have another?" I wonder if he's friends with the Japanese cat who loves tape?
