All Afflecks in the Wagon! Jen Garner's Girls Get a Good Ride

Load 'em up! Jennifer Garner opted for a nice, shady alternative to the double stroller over the weekend.

Load 'em up! Jennifer Garner opted for a nice, shady alternative to the double stroller over the weekend. The actress was spotted pulling Violet, 4, and Seraphina, 1, out of the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market in a Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon ($180). The Affleck girls looked comfy eating snacks while they sat on padded seats under the cart's sun canopy. Wagons are great because they have ample storage space for parents and plenty of room for tots to stretch out or play. The top-of-the-line Ultimate Comfort Wagon boasts flip down seats, molded cup holders, and insulated side storage bags that keep snacks cold. How do you cart your kids around when you have errands to run?

Wheelin' the Goods and Wee Ones Around Town

Round up those wagons!

Round up those wagons! As any beach or park-going parent knows, gathering children and all of their stuff for an afternoon of fun is an exercise in balance and coordination. Between pushing the strollers and finding space for all of the snacks, blankets, toys and changing supplies, the likelihood of holding onto everything is slim. Wagons, like the custom one Kingston Rossdale rides and the more traditional ones Sadie Sandler and Eden and Savannah Mahoney have are a great solution for maintaining some organized chaos. Whether you opt for a wooden version like the classic Radio Flyer or a more elaborate one like the HABA trolley with rubber wheels and removable nylon fabric, the wagons can be used to pull multiple kids or their stuff. Parents with some craftsmanship ability can also customize their trolleys, adding things like covers, MP3 holders, speakers and attachable blankets to make the rides as plush as possible. The Gifted Baby: Two-Year-Old

Two isn't terrible! The key to entertaining a rambunctious two-year-old is patience and a steady stream of back-up ideas to prevent meltdowns.

Two isn't terrible! The key to entertaining a rambunctious two-year-old is patience and a steady stream of back-up ideas to prevent meltdowns. Look for toys that keep children active as well as items that let them explore their creative sides.

Among our choices for lil two-year-olds are:

  • Kitchen play items like grocery carts, play food, and cash registers allow toddlers to imitate adult behavior, while increasing vocabulary and introducing numbers.
  • Easels, like the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel promote independent play, while allowing children to draw, paint and play with chalk.
  • Radio Flyer's Little Miss Scooter, which also comes in red, will be a hit on the playground while teaching lil ones about balance and stability. Just don't forget to purchase a helmet to go with this gift!
  • The PlasmaCar is one of the coolest products on the market. Unlike other toddler ride-ons, it does not have pedals. It uses natural forces of centrifugal force and gravity to zoom around the playground.
  • Unlike an easel, Aquadoodle's Draw N' Doodle Mat will not make a mess of your home. Using nothing but a water-filled marker, tots can draw on this mat as often as they like, without ever having to replace their canvas.
  • If green markets are more your thing than grocery stores, check out the Market Stand complete with bins and baskets ready for imaginary play.

Look out parents! The classic Radio Flyer Inchworm ($44) is inching his way back into the hearts of his old playmates. Only this time the riders are their children.

The joyful green creature has footrests and flexible motions allowing endless bouncing pleasure. Mom and dad, the limit is 50 pounds so don't test its muscle and break the green worm's back. Your kid will be none too pleased with your antics.

Walking

Toy Box: Radio Flyer Push Wagon

Though your babe is dying to walk, he can't quite figure it out.

Though your babe is dying to walk, he can't quite figure it out. But since most of the walkers that we were subjected to as children have been slapped with danger labels, what's a mama to do?

The Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon ($79) is a great option. The red wagon is crafted with "resist" wheel clickers that help keep the momentum slow while lil ones learns how to toddle around.

For children who are already strutting, it's a great cart to push treasures in. And, parents will love the storage space for toys and stuffed animals.
