I didn't do much searching around for my first crib, instead picking up a relatively affordable, simple style from a major retailer. Oh, if I had known then what I know now! Today's crib market is full of modern, stylish, sleek, and just-plain-cool options, with new introductions constantly adding to the baby-bed awesomeness. Oeuf is one of the hippest kids' companies out there (it's no surprise after looking at the founders' amazing home, complete with a living room trapeze swing!). But when the company sent us a preview of its Fall clothing and goodies, we were still taken aback by the level of coolness.

Oeuf has created a collection that is completely kid-friendly on multiple levels. First, the all-knitwear line is supercozy and comfy, but it's also incredibly whimsical and fun. Masks, tails, capes, crowns, and more turn everyday dressing into a game of dress-up. And, believe us, your kids will look much more hip in a knitted owl mask or giraffe tail than they ever could in that princess dress or superhero cape. You would expect the creators of modern, eco-friendly nursery furniture and clothing line Oeuf to live in a sleek space, but the Brooklyn brownstone shared by Sophie Demenge and Michael Ryan, the husband-and-wife team behind the brand, and their two children is nothing if not unexpected. The living room's flying trapeze (!!) and the family's room curated but decidedly lived-in look make this house feel wonderfully playful and cozy.
