The other day we offered up a tip for visual learners and then one lilsugar commenter shared her family's tradition that fits right in with today being NEA's Read Across America day.

We have a tradition that the youngest reader (emerging reader) reads out loud on the way to school each morning, their choice of books. I read that reading out loud helps with comprehension and it seems to be true with my girls
