Sure, your baby often sports a milk-covered face, but would you cover his entire body in milk? That's exactly what Miniature Milk, a brand-new eco-friendly infant clothing line, suggests. The New York-based company debuts a layette collection this week, and the cow-print rompers, onesies, striped bibs, beanies, and blankets (prices range from $15 to $60) are all made from organic cotton and — get this — milk fiber, a protein that's extracted from cow’s milk.
According to Miniature Milk, milk fiber is perfect for baby clothing because of its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. "We wanted to create a simple and stylish range of baby clothes that not only looks great but also incorporates a fabric that has positive attributes for the sensitive skin of babies," said Jamie Archer-Perkins, founder of Miniature Milk, in a press release. So would you let your baby drink his milk . . . and wear it, too?

In teaching your children the importance of gratitude, writing personal notes to friends and family is a great hands-on activity to put the lesson into action. After the next holiday or birthday in your house, skip the preprinted or fill-in-the-blank notes and instead invest in a special set of stationery. If he is too young to write, let him dictate what he'd like his message to say. And even if he's just getting started with a pen and paper, thank you notes are a great way to practice. Here are some of our favorite options for kids stationery that's uniquely their own!
There's no doubt that I love a monogram. But personalized gifts for babes can often look — how shall I say? — less than luxe. That's why I'm flipping for Butterscotch Blankees, a line favored by celebs including Sarah Jessica Parker and Kourtney Kardashian. The company was started by Jodie Roth, a mom who came up empty while looking for cute, but sophisticated accent pieces for her son's nursery. She made him a personalized blanket, and the line was born right along with her first baby. While the pillows, blankets, hats, and scarves are too cute, we're really flipping for the new-for-Spring knit sweaters and dresses. A perfect shower or new baby gift, the creations can be personalized with initials, names, monograms, or birth dates. Even cuter, each package arrives wrapped like butterscotch candy, making a great gift to send to a faraway friend.
So I'm obviously loving the line, but what do you think? Is Butterscotch Blankees too luxe for a lil one? Or just right? Weigh in below!
In the April issue of Elle, the magazine's very nude and very pregnant cover star Jessica Simpson confirms that she's expecting a lil girl. "I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic. We're gonna have this athletic girl, and I won't even be able to take her shopping," she told the magazine.
In honor of the pending birth of Simpson's daughter, we've found 10 great gift ideas that are decidedly "all girl" for the rock 'n' roll momma (and mentor on the upcoming series Fashion Star) and her fashionable lil bundle of joy.

But buy one of the following five rugs for your lil one's room and you might be tempted to steal it for your own. Not only are these children's rugs from Land of Nod, Pottery Barn Kids, and more cute and colorful, but they're also reasonably priced — all the more reason to stock up for the whole family.
