When the littlest Duggar made her way home from the hospital for the first time, it was an emotional event for her 18 older brothers and sisters. Though parenting is nothing new for Jim Bob and Michelle, tending to a preemie is an altogether different experience. Josie Brooklyn weighed just one pound and six ounces when she was born at 25 weeks gestation on December 10, 2009, and left the hospital months later. She has since been readmitted, but Sunday's sweet episode of The Duggars: 19 Kids and Counting shows the family under one roof for the very first time. Will you tune this Sunday at 8/7 (central) on TLC?

Miracle baby Josie Duggar was released from the hospital today! The preemie, who was born at just 25 weeks gestation back in December, is now almost four months old and weighs 4 lbs. 9 oz. Her proud parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, are excited to have the wee one bond with her 18 older siblings. Jim Bob said:

Michelle and I are very happy to report that little Josie is being released from the hospital today. And while we have plenty of practice bringing babies home, this time is very different. To be on the safe side, we’ll stay nearby in Little Rock for the short term, with the entire family returning home to Springdale in the near future. We are deeply grateful to the staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. And as always, thank you for the continued prayers and support.

Number 19 is here! Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar welcomed baby girl Josie Brooklyn to the world yesterday evening. Born prematurely, the tiny tot weighed in at 1 pound, 6 ounces! After successfully dealing with gallstone issues, the mother of many was rushed to the hospital with complications. According to People, "Michelle was taken to the OR for an emergency C-section. She is resting comfortably, and the baby is stable and in the NICU for extended care." Congratulations to the Duggar family! We wish Michelle a speedy recovery and hope Josie Brooklyn will soon be able to join the rest of her family in their home.
