I know each pregnancy is different and everyone is affected by certain things. But, one thing that seemed consistent with my pregnancy — and with other expecting mothers I knew — was an aversion to mint.
Before conception, I loved peppermint gum, mint chocolate-chip ice cream, brushing my teeth, Altoids, etc. When I became pregnant, that all changed. Luckily for me, my distaste for mint didn't last forever. Though, it was a long, rocky road to redemption.
