Spring has just begun, but we're already looking ahead to the lazy, hazy days of Summer. Famous families seem to be just as enamored with beach days as the rest of us, and we've captured some of the sweetest snaps of celebrity kids in the surf and sand. Whether they're a quick drive from their Hollywood homes in Malibu or Orange County or enjoying an exotic vacation, it's hard not to love a day at the beach!
Full disclosure: many of the famous families seen here likely reached their destinations via private jet, were accompanied by full-time help, and had access to amenities that many of us didn't even know existed. Still, we can't help but be inspired by their jet-set savvy and ability to pack up the kids and go with what looks like relative ease. Read on for seven valuable travel lessons that we can take from vacationing celebs and their families. Bon voyage!
In honor of March Madness, we're turning our focus to the basketball court this week. While celeb tots may not have an allegiance to collegiate teams just yet, they seem to love taking in NBA games (courtside, of course) with their famous moms and dads. We've scouted some of the sweetest shots of celebrity hoops fans cheering on their beloved ballers.

Did you know that the adorable 9-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis, star of Beasts of the Southern Wild, is the youngest actress in the history of the Academy Awards to receive a nomination? Whether or not she takes home the Oscar on Feb. 24, we think that earning a nod from the Academy before even entering the double digits is quite an accomplishment.
Our celebration of the 85th Academy Awards kicks off with a look back at some of our favorite moments starring kids at the Academy Awards. Whether they're nominated, presenting, or performing, the youngest attendees often steal the spotlight!
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner took their daughters, Violet and Seraphina, out for an afternoon of ice skating in LA today. The family was all smiles as they made their way to the rink, and the girls showed off their skills on the ice. Ben planted a sweet kiss on Violet while she took a break to eat a hot dog and also shared some cute moments with Seraphina, even letting her try on his sunglasses.
The trip may be an early celebration for Seraphina's fourth birthday, which is on Sunday, but it's not the only milestone for the Affleck-Garners. Good Will Hunting commemorated its 15th anniversary this week, and Ben and his costars, including Matt Damon, sat down with Boston magazine to look back on the movie that made them A-list stars. The recognition will continue with award season right around the corner since Ben's Argo is nominated multiple times at the Golden Globes and SAGs.
We have to say, we weren't entirely surprised when we tallied up the final numbers of our best-dressed celebrity kid bracket — Harper Beckham has been one of the most stylish tots on the scene since her arrival in July 2011.
"I like little girls to look like little girls," Harper's well-heeled mama, Victoria Beckham, was quoted as saying before her babe was even born. She's stood by that statement, dressing Harper in an enviable wardrobe of gorgeous, traditional dresses, matching shoes, and sweet bows and headbands. While it certainly doesn't hurt to have parents with the style and good looks of Posh and Becks, we think Harper's pretty perfect in her own right.
Check out some of the well-dressed tot's best looks of 2012, and see the other finalists — Suri Cruise, Mason Disick, Skyler Berman, and Leni Samuel. When you're as cute as these five famous tots, looking good is a piece of cake!

Gwen Stefani took her older son, Kingston Rossdale, to his gymnastics and judo class in LA yesterday. The two kept things casual in t-shirts, sneakers, and hats while walking to the building. Gwen and Kingston have been spending lots of cute quality time together. The Stefani-Rossdales took in a tennis tournament last week and even visited an amusement park. Gwen has also been keeping busy in the recording studio with her band, No Doubt. The group recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and has been making progress on their next album, with Gwen sharing updates about their process on her Facebook page. Her husband Gavin Rossdale, meanwhile, is focusing on a fun new project. Gavin Rossdale was shirtless Sunday to shoot a scene for Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring.
