Cars 2 Trailer: Pixar Is Back But Not Better Than Ever
Pixar proved that it knows how to make a great sequel with the Oscar-winning Toy Story 3, but it's not looking like lightning will strike again for this year's installment of Cars. The sequel, which features the voices of Owen Wilson, Michael Caine, and Emily Mortimer, is confusing and lackluster.

In Cars 2, we're reunited with Lightning McQueen (Wilson), the red race car whose speed lives up to his name. This time, he and his partner in crime Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix, but things get sticky when they get tangled up in a world of espionage. I'm definitely a fan of most things Pixar, but the trailer just doesn't pack the heart and humor that the animation studio is known for. There's always a chance that the film will be better than this preview, but decide for yourself when you read more
